Fleming Park is a small, quiet, and well-maintained community space with a variety of features for visitors. It offers multiple playgrounds suitable for children of different ages, including swings with long chains and a large slide. Although one jungle gym was closed for renovations, the park still has a larger play structure and plenty of swings, making it easy for parents to watch and play with their kids. The park is ideal for family gatherings, with a nice picking area that hosts parties. The playground is not busy and provides a safe environment, although the absence of fencing means parents need to keep a close eye on children who tend to wander. The park has two tennis courts, two basketball half-courts, numerous benches, and picnic tables, some shaded, for relaxing or lunch. It is secluded and quiet, with street parking available nearby. However, there are no restrooms, which may be a downside, but the park is close to other locations with bathroom facilities. Overall, Fleming Park is a charming, well-cared-for spot perfect for small gatherings and outdoor play.
Great little park. One of the jungle gym structures was closed off for renovations. Still had a larger one as well as plenty of swings and a big slide.
We really like this park! The only reason I am giving it 4 stars because it does not have fences so if your toddler or child like to wonder away might need to keep a closer eye on them. Otherwise has a nice playground and beautiful oak trees
