Good afternoon, my name is Keionne Jackson. I bank with both banks and I’m having a serious issue with both banks. Today July 23rd at around 4pm, I went to first national bank at 14710 wood forest blvd in Houston Texas to withdraw 988.00 from the teller. I then drove 5 miles to Chase bank branch 003802 to deposit my 988.00 so I can pay my mortgage. The teller Nicole ran her bills through her machine and told my one of the 20 dollar bills was counterfeit. Imagine the surprise look on my face, when I just had withdraw the money from first national bank. The teller went on to tell me she had to keep the 20 dollars and will only deposit 968.00 dollars to my account. She then tell me to go back to first national and see if they can settle this situation, she wouldn’t let me take the 20 dollars back only take a picture. I went back to first national to talk with the branch manager and she asked did they give it back and did she use a maker on the 20 dollars, I said no she didn’t. The the branch manager stated we can see if it’s counterfeit if we don’t have the 20 dollars I stated chase wouldn’t give it back. I called first national cooperation and spoke with a manager and they said chase had to give it back. My problem is if chase would have gave me counterfeit money and I asked them to give it back you think they would. So you telling me now I have to worry about putting my money in my bank account and hoping I’m not getting counterfeit money. I’ve been with both banks for years and now I’m thinking about canceling both accounts especially first national because you guys gave me the counterfeit money. I know it’s only 20 dollars but it was my 20 dollars that I put in your account to keep it safe and now I can’t trust you with my money. I will fight this because this makes no sense..

The staff there is really rude, they 0 customer service and care less if you are standing in line for a long time. They should change the name to first inconvenience bank instead lol or change staff at this location. Nasty attitude

I just opened an account with them and the truth is they treated me very well, very friendly and clarified all my doubts in the best way, I left very satisfied with the treatment and with my account ready to be used

The schedule says Mon-Wednesday 10:00 am to -6:00pm ive been in line since 10 and still not open .

Majority of the staff is rude and act lazy. They don't even acknowledge you, there were 5 people in line and one lady was on her phone behind the teller window. The other was doing something on the computer (was told their system was running slow)and a third was at a desk also on her phone. I understand they are a bank and get busy but they weren't doing anything or even acknowledging the customers waiting to handle they're banking needs. I ALWAYS get excellent service at the Baytown branch and without attitude. If I could leave no stars for the Woodforest location I would because they are definitely not professional at they're jobs. They need to be more considerate and friendly.

If I could’ve left no stars I would’ve ! This is the most inconvenience bank it is .. if you need assistance with your account after the bank close your out of luck they don’t even have a 24/7 help desk. The customer service in the bank is extremely slow and their not very knowledgeable. I went in today to get $20 in quarters and they told me they only have $10 in quarters HOW DOES A “BANK” ONLY HAVE $10 IN QUARTERS ??? And that wasn’t the first time they said that. Now I have to go to a bank I’m not even a member to get assistance.

So rude came in and they were closed but they were still at the windows and I asked her if they’re drawers were closed out already because the atm only let me take out $600 and she responded “the bank is closed” with a attitude it was a young African American lady. Just because you’re “closed” does not mean you have to be rude to your customers a simple “yes sorry “ would’ve been fine . Attitude and stank face wasn’t necessary , yes I could see her face because her mask wasn’t even covering her whole face she had it down
