I visited the FedEx on Beechnut in Meyerland today. The manager, Chris, helped me ship my package. He was extremely helpful, polite, and provided information on how to pack my items. Chris provided me with the most cost-effective price and explained to me the reasons for packing my items the way he did. He is definitely an asset to the company and this location.
OAN: I don't understand why this store has 2.9 stars out of 5. People need to realize that some things are out of control of the business you're patronizing (i.e. equipment failures, parking in a parking facility that is shared with multiple businesses and offices, short-staffed, etc.). The persons who work there don't repair malfunctioning machines or devices. And staffing is an issue EVERYWHERE.
Unless someone is being intentionally or blatantly rude or disrespectful, please consider how you review businesses and their service.

Frank was amazing, I was so confused on how to print from my email, but he made it easy I he was truly patient, even though he was busy when I walked in he acknowledged me ✅ Keep up the great work Frank
Ps. There were a few others who avoided eye contact 😟 who wasn’t so busy

I made the mistake of coming here right after lunch. What a nightmare. The parking lot of this plaza is horrendous. I also can't figure out how people double park...
My intention was to run in and out quickly, using their print-and-go service. Each one was occupied, and the place was busy. Thankfully, someone was done quicker than I anticipated. The printer was having some sort of a meltdown and refused to print my documents twice. The employee behind the packaging counter came over to see if I needed assistance and also offered to print the documents for me. As soon as he said this, the printer started to work on the third try. I appreciated that he came over to offer assistance genuinely and did the same for others.
I've been to most FedEx locations where they don't leave the counter to offer assistance, but this location did. Great staff, but bad parking. I will just come when it's not during or after lunch.

They are most unfriendliest people that work there. They made me feel like I was intruding on them. I guess I'll try UPS next.I felt the lady was disinterested on helping me and I wonder if was because I am a Caucasian man. Don't go and get treated like you are a intruder. I called the manager but it looks like they don't do anything about it. It looks like FedEx is going down the drain and hiring anyone that stands and just push buttons. They will not see me there again and do they not know that there are other delivery services?

They advertise they do passport photos, and they do but not infant passport photos. They say they don't have a way to position the baby. They have counters to lay the babies on and since only the face has to be visible a parent absolutely could hold the baby and keep them safe. I even brought my own bright white background the keep the baby clean.
Not a fan of place that don't go above and beyond for their customers.

I sent in a poster to be printed and had my mom pick it up. They caught an error in the printing, offered to help adjust the document, and print again right then and there

I was disappointed by the behavior of the staff member handling the packages. I found her interactions to be dismissive, which made my experience uncomfortable. As a customer, I felt like my presence was unwelcome, and it seemed as though I might have inadvertently upset her. I hope FedEx addresses this issue, as better customer service is definitely needed. Unfortunately, I will be reconsidering my decision to return to this location.

Lady taking the packages was rude, inconsiderate, and just a bump on a log. As a White Man I Felt like she was racist towards me and that I ruined her day. Will not be returning to this store, she definitely needs customer service lessons. Do better FedEx.......

The other rude lady disappeared and kept me waiting for 10 minutes before Chris took over.

Had a very unpleasant experience here. A young man (employee) by the name of Kevin came up to me at 6:55 and said that the store would be closing in 5 minutes. Totally fine, advised I was just waiting on my code that apparently took some time for the their system to send back to me so I could print time sensitive paperwork. He responded he could give me a list of locations that we’re still open after I said I just needed a few minutes to print (again, was a waiting on their system to provide me with a code) and would prefer that over having to drive to what would be location 30 minutes out only to have to start the process all over again. He then turned off the lights where I was working at, at 6:57 after reiterating they close at 7. As some one who has worked in customer service, I understand wanting to close out at a certain time, I have never seen an employee turn off the lights while a customer was still in the building and much less minutes away from leaving and told to drive across town.
