My suit for my wedding was mailed to me earlier than expected, while I was out of town. I was given the option to have my package re-routed to Walgreens FedEx on-site for in person pickup, easy right? Wrong. I called to ensure it arrived and was told it would be held for 5 business days. It was delivered Friday and they returned to sender Monday, 3 days or 1 business day later. When I showed up Tuesday to pick it up, it was not there. Not only that but the staff, Dimas and another lady didn’t give much effort to look into the matter. I was on the phone FedEx, who stated the package is still showing that it is at Walgreens. This was a very important package and nobody seemed to want to help… until Jessica stepped up and went above and beyond. I would give Jessica 5 stars. She called the FedEx driver and her other shift workers to try to figure out what could have happened. Turns out that, as suspected, my package was returned to sender many days too soon and my wedding suit was missing in action. Fortunately, I was able to track it down and have it re-delivered, but I will never use this FedEx on-site service again. I’d rather risk having a package sit on my porch for several days than trust people that don’t follow protocol and don’t seem to care when it comes to their customers. I’m rating this as a service and the majority of the people involved, however Jessica was amazing and I’m very thankful for her care and compassion. Jessica should get a raise and others should figure out how to care a bit more for their customers.
