Family Dollar, a popular discount retailer, has received mixed reviews from its customers. While some customers praise the store's cleanliness and the helpfulness of the staff, others have encountered issues with overcrowded aisles, malfunctioning card machines, and disruptive shoppers. One customer described the store they visited as "one of the cleanest and organized FD" they had been to, and the assistant manager, who they referred to as Angelic, was "super nice" and "very helpful and funny." However, another customer experienced problems with the card machine, which kept declining their purchase, forcing them to have a fellow customer pay in cash. The store's cluttered appearance is often attributed to employees restocking the shelves, and the rising prices are sometimes blamed on shoppers' theft. Additionally, some customers have reported a shortage of employees, particularly at the Aldine Bender location, which they described as "ghetto" due to disruptive behavior from other shoppers. Overall, the reviews of Family Dollar suggest a mixed experience, with both positive and negative aspects, highlighting the need for the retailer to address the concerns raised by its customers.
I’m so proud of this store. I stopped by on a Friday morning and of course I didn’t want to but this was one of the cleanest and organized FD I’ve visit.
