About a year ago, I was searching for a reliable shop to handle the rod bearings on my E46 M3. After some research, I found EMG online and noticed they had excellent reviews. I decided to give them a call, and from the very beginning, Mike was fantastic. He took the time to explain everything clearly and recommended additional work while the engine was open.
I took my car to them, and they completed the job in a few days with no surprises when it came time to pay the bill, which was very fair. I was very pleased with their work, as I haven’t had any issues with the E46 since. Recently, I brought my E36 to them for a Short Shift Kit installation and a few other "while you're in there" items. Once again, they finished the job in a couple of days and at a reasonable price.
This time however, Mike went above and beyond. Along with the other work, I asked for them to do the state inspection and at some point, my key was accidentally dropped and broken. Mike apologized and immediately offered to replace the key free of charge, even having it Ubered to my house! Since then, the E36 has been running great. I’ll definitely return to EMG for any future car needs. EMG is a great shop, and I highly recommend them to anyone.

This review is long overdue. First off, there is a reason there is nothing but five star reviews here. Also, do you realize how unusual it is for a shop that does performance upgrades to have all five star reviews. If you have a BMW that is out of warranty or you have modified your car with suspension or anything else, you are crazy if you do not bring it here.
These guys fixed some shotty work that another shop did.
They installed my Ohlins coilovers.
They are great at coordinating with other shops so if you have the car there and you need other things done like your windshield replaced, no problem. They even coordinated with the body shop one time to paint match and replace a rocker panel.
Anyway, these guys are the real deal and I consider them like family now.

My F80 M3 came in for a valve cover replacement and spark plugs. During the replacement they found an oil leak, a coolant leak and even sent pictures throughout the process. Michael and his team definitely took care of me and even replaced my key battery for free.

Absolutely thrilled with the overall customer experience! I've had my vehicles serviced at various specialist shops, but none have matched the quality of EMG. My daughter’s Audi Q3 had a check engine light with a P2181 code, so I brought it to EMG European motor gruppe for a fix on August 2nd, 2023. They replaced the coolant regulator & pump at a reasonable price, and the car has been running smoothly since. Michael, the co-owner of EMG, was very skilled and courteous, and Delilah, the front desk lady, was very kind and helpful. We are very satisfied with EMG and will trust them with our euro vehicles in the future.
