My husband and I have lived here for almost 2.5 years and have enjoyed our stay. The amenities are always managed and kept well and all of the staff are friendly and do an amazing job. Our maintenence requests are always addressed in a timely manner. They also offer many events organized by the apartment for the community to get together. Overall, I am very happy and would rent here

I am honored to recommend the exceptional, friendly and approachable leasing office team at Elan Med Center (EMC), including Eugene F. and Zach S., and led by the incredible Property Manager, Kayla K. They made out of this property a 'community' in the true sense of the word. EMC is an high-end, amenity-rich and spacious property, with a soothening ambiance in mind for Texas Medical Center (TMC) people, including a local and international community of researchers, nurses, medical residents, fellows, medical students, among many others. What makes EMC stand out of the nearby communities is the socializing events (e.g. celebrations, food gatherings, pool parties) to ensure the best experience for tenants. Otherwise, the resources of this dog-friendly community are consistently well cleaned, thanks to new member Maryleny. I also laud the exceptional maintenance team (Oscar F., Nicholas and Derick L.) with great expertise and prompt service. I give a particular shoutout to the friendly service of the know-it-all Derick L, who treats this place like his home. I can confidently say that EMC team sets the bar high for professionalism among Greystar communities.

Lived there for 3 years left due to an aggressive and unhinged staff members.. Always get a walk through prior to move out or you will receive an factious list of expenses. Orchestrated Deceptive practices across the board. Invasion of privacy, there is something amiss regarding people hired with Grey Star properties. Grey Star will hire anyone off the street then allow them access to credential and personal information... go figure. In a rush to moved there, I move from one Grey Headache to another Grey Star catastrophe, I should have read review. There is no accountability at these properties so be prepared to pay rental and that's it.

I have lived here for more than a year and have renewed my lease. This place is nice for the money you pay to stay close to the medical center. I would say sometimes this place is very bad on noise and no one will Address the issue so be ready for heavy foot upstairs neighbors you can hear everything it's bad for people with sound sensitivity despite them assuring me that there is a concrete layer in between before leasing, and no adequate response to any noise complaint it takes them months to reply and once they do they advised to buy a house.The maintenance team here is fantastic.The office staff is not always looking out for the best interests of the residents.The apartment itself is well put together. The two bedroom has a lot of space and good lighting from outside. The one bedroom is more dark and cozy.

I have been on vacation here and I had the opportunity to meet Ms. Maryleny. She is very kind and respectful, always with a smile and working hard. Since she arrived, there has been a big change in the amenities of the property. The team working there is excellent. The property feels fresh and I really like it. A nice place to live.

The apartment management at Elan are some of the slimiest people on Earth. The rent of these apartments have increased from $1700 to $3100 in less than a year and a half, and no improvements or luxuries have even been attempted to be added. So they doubled the renting price out of pure greed. And while they rub their hands together, they do absolutely nothing in terms of actual apartment maintenance. It takes weeks for service requests to even get a reply, and so I’m left dealing with a broken washer or a faulty burner for maybe months while they don’t do their jobs. What an infuriating stay in downtown, I hope the rest of Houston isn’t like this.

6/7/2023 - Derek is an outstanding maintenance supervisor and much needed addition at EMC. He is a customer service wizard. His mannerism and concern is consistent which is not always the case for this understaffed property. He has excellent communications and integrity, and I hope he sticks around.2/28/2022- I upgraded my rating to a 4-star (if there were moving carts available for tenants moving in, apartments should be deep cleaned (no dust), patio power washed, and make sure all "holds" are cleared on essential services (i.e. electricity/power, internet services from previous occupants), this would be a 5-star for sure... but there's always room for improvement. I absolutely love my new place!12/30/2021 - Jessica was wonderful, patient, and professional at all times. She did an outstanding job from beginning to end. Although my 1st choice was Modera (they had no availability), I was referred here by a leasing consultant... Fortunately, it was a good choice. --- thank you.

My time at Elan Med Center has been wonderful. It doesn't feel like you are in the city because the apartment complex is in a peaceful neighborhood. One of the staff members, Oscar Flores, has always been gracious in helping me with any plumbing problems. Additionally, the leasing team is often quite friendly. I think I've talked to one or two people, and my family has talked to them a bit more. Although they are pleasant, I have never been greeted by one of them over the duration of my lease, in contrast to the cleaning staff, who are always cheerful and will greet you in the morning and wish you a good day, among other things. One of them is Nicolas; he's a remarkably kind man who never fails to make eye contact with you and wish you a wonderful day, so you know he's a very kind person. I enjoy the whole building as well as the serenity my neighborhood provides.

THIS IS THE PLACE TO CALL HOME! This is a hidden gem in the medical center. I have never lived before in such an amazing apartment complex. Work orders are done within the minute you put the order. Amazing place for pets I can’t empathize enough!!! And to all the FIVE STARS to Nicklaus one of the staff members here at Elan, he is the absolute best!! He always welcomes my mom and I with a big smile, such an amazing human being!! Elan please recognize Nicklaus!!!

Not greeted when I came in even after eye contact with Eugene at the front desk where he not so much as a hello how are you how can I help but instead an eye roll and dismissive gestures. I proceeded to tour myself around the lobby and pool wondering how long it’d take to be acknowledged and helped. Went to the restroom and waiting more right in front of this guy, not taking a call or helping anyone else or Anything. Finally walked up to ask for help. Eugene was very short, rude and literally no extra information on available apartments. He only offered pricing for the smallest 1 bedroom which I was inquiring on the largest 2 bedroom and his reply was not professional at all as if I was out of my league. I had to ask for a tour which he declined stating I needed an appointment. Asked for my ID then declined to take it since ‘it wasn’t easy to scan’ Only pointing me in the direction of everything. Handed me a key saying the elevator is over there, more sassy gestures. I had so many questions about the amenities and how to apply as my family considered this place but it won’t be an option after that experience. No pet info, where do packages go, nothing. I immediately left after a self guided tour to avoid that attitude. Terrible!
