I've been a customer of this bank for decades, and they've consistently exceeded my expectations in terms of service and reliability. I have never had any issues with this bank and their fees are very reasonable. I appreciate their transparency and honesty. Also, the online banking system is user-friendly and makes managing my finances a breeze. I will definitely recommend this bank to anyone looking for convenience. I can do all my banking from the palm of my hand and it's so convenient.

Had just opened a new account, all seemed to be going well. Did nothing wrong whatsoever. Had just a handful of your average everyday transactions. I went in to my account one day to check my balance and....it's closed. I chat with customer service and they say they won't give me a reason and sorry for the inconvenience. This is right before the winter freeze and I was going to use funds to get some food, extra supplies, etc. just in case. I asked how I can access my funds. Agent (Lydia) said to go to a branch. It was Saturday and a 3-day weekend. I said that's obviously not possible, and why can't I use the same debit card I've been using and why wasn't I notified of this? She said "Sorry, can't help." I'm planning to file a complaint with Consumer Protection because I was never notified of this, had to discover myself the hard way, had no access to my funds, money is still being held and collected interest on I guess while I have nothing, have to reroute my just-setup direct deposit meaning I'll be even longer without my pay and money, deal with the embarrassment to my employer of explaining my account was closed that I just opened and stood behind as my depositing institution, and nobody has reached out to me, contacted me, mailed any communication...nothing. Pretty deplorable practice and way to treat people, and still no idea where my money is or why they just chose to keep it.

Save yourself the time and stress, don’t even consider opening and account. There’s always a problem always an issue. If you need to make a big purchase it will will never go through even if you call the bank they always tell you there’s nothing they can do and you need to go in personally. Worst bank out there, but don’t take it from me just read and look at all the reviews. I don’t know if they don’t want to work, are lazy, or just don’t care about their clients.

Worst lender experience ever. It took them 60 days to close the transaction, there was always a delay. Linda Martinez was horrible at communicating. Please do yourself a favor and do not use this bank for your mortgages needs!!

Terrible. on Feb 18 I went to the atm to take out $520. the atm said no so I took out $400. on my bank statement, both amounts were taken out! I went to the bank to fix it, and the man that came out of his office to talk to me refused to help me get it resolved! so they basically stole my $520!! so rude and so wrong!

Not to be confused with the Eats Wets Bank, which is named after my cat who won't eat dry food... she only eats wets.We're not big fans of the East West Bank in this location, which is what looks like a big corporate office with a little street-level location as well.So it's pretty handy for ATM services and whatnot and it's possible we might end up with an account in here, as we've been looking for new accounts to open for various reasons.
