I love dr Bita but her front desk staff are terrible. I am a patient and have been going to dr bita for over 5 years and every time I call to leave a message for the Dr. the front staff treat you like you are a criminal and refuse to give any messages to the Dr. specifically Heidi and Anna. Very disappointed.
Side note: the office manager Anna tells me I can’t have a medication prescribed until I see Dr ( just saw her in April) because “ it is a controlled substance”- I am a pharmacist and know it is not! Stop telling people lies just to make it difficult for them to get their medications! I shouldn’t have to beg to be seen or prescribed medication by the dr!

Dr. Bita Pour-Jafari is the best!!!! I love her and her staff, they’re all so caring and kind. From the beginning that I started coming to her for my medical needs and she never changes, she truly cares about her patients ❤️ - Ms. Montoya

Always good. Dr. Safari is very attentive good listener and addresses all of my issues. Staff very polite and helpful.

I’ve had a horrible experience and will never go back to this office again . Poor customer service ! I had to call 6 times for the Dr to send a very urgent prescription and ended up going to the ER. Same thing happened two years ago but I decided to give them a second chance , big mistake .

I refrained from posting this because the doctors here are very pleasant, but their front desk staff need some work. They don’t know how to talk to the customers, and every time you call it’s like pulling teeth. I’m unwell and tried to setup a tele health appt. Was told they wouldn’t schedule unless I had a Covid test. So I did it, then went call back and now the won’t schedule cause they require my temp and vitals. Should have told me that the first time. Everyone makes mistakes so not a big deal, but a it seems like every time I call it’s like pulling teeth. I asked if I could speak to a superior and she shut me down saying she’s the manager. It’s not the first time this person has been short with me. If this was the first time I’d let it go but she was short with me a few other times as well when I asked questions but was probably asking in a confusing way. Then another time when I needed my meds transferred to a new pharmacy. I’m going to look for a new doctor. Very frustrating

The Doctor: Five Stars!
Heidi at the front desk: not so much.
Dr. Pour-Jafari herself embodies how attentive and caring a doctor should be. Unlike so many doctors who make assumptions after barely listening, she thoroughly listens to her patients and goes above and beyond to research the issues and offer every solution available. She is just OUTSTANDING in every way! She will work far beyond normal hours to meet your needs. She TRULY CARES about her patients. Fantastic doctor.

Introducing Heidi, the admin who is unprofessional, doesn’t care as much about the Doctor’s patients and comes off as rude. I wonder if Heidi may be running people away with her lack of empathy and understanding of URGENT matters. Also, she will absolutely talk over you.
Called on Tuesday to ask if my test results as ordered by my SPECIALIST can be faxed to my specialist. Mind you, these are MY medical records. There is no legal requirement for MY records to be reviewed before being shared with my specialist. But, she says they MUST be reviewed by the doctor first. Why?! They are MY records, and my specialist needs to see them for my operation next week! I have made work and life plans around my operation, which Heidi doesn’t care about and just repeats their “standard” procedures. Asked her to tell the doctor it’s urgent. But she didn’t. Called again Wednesday, she still says the same thing. The professional response would be, “I understand it is urgent and will let the doctor know! We cannot guarantee they will be reviewed and sent today, but she will definitely know it’s urgent.” Not sure why that was so hard. And again, why does the doctor need to review MY medical records before sending them to my specialist? I don’t really get it.
But Dr. Pour-Jafari stayed late into the evening to review my records and faxed them. That is why she is a GEM of a doctor and worthy of every praise and recognition.

Dr. Pour-Jafari has always taken time to talk to me about any issues I may have with my health. The staff in her office is great.
