the cashier he very rude .I went the store #09781 locations is 14643 Beechnut st Houston ,Tx 77083 purchased $131.17 on 1-11-2024 .The cashier not pay extension to the customer, he use cell phone to talk personal ,after total I paid by credit card ,The guy cashier he throws my purchase to the bag look like he unhappy and not welcome ,he seem discrimination by race , I never see that before of course never want come their again I have to complain to head quarter of Dollar general ? So many store around why need come this scams tore with uneducated employee

Worst dollar general I have came to, there’s a Spanish male that’s literally so unprofessional and rude. I went this morning around 9:15am and I was at the register with my daughter that grabbed two lollipops and one of them the seemed open but I was watching my daughter the whole time and she never opened it. He got upset and started saying that how were they going to sell a 54 cent lollipop now, as if that was coming off his paycheck or the company was going to lose millions of dollars. I would have love for him to check the cameras and see that my daughter didn’t open it, but I won’t come back here again.

Ordered cheeze its, queso, spinach dip, and tortilla chips. They made me addicted to cheeze its. I highly do not recommend this place. They're just trying to make money off your addiction. If this store was replaced with healthy food I would give it a better rating. Besides, the queso tasted like a dump. I wasted my money buying from here. I could buy healthy and delicious food at the same price.

This place needs to be shut down immediately, they have a racist white manager who torments black customers, follow them around in the store, gets his employees to do the same and throws a temper tantrum when you call him out about it, not only that, most of their products have open boxes and torn apart products that seems like rats have been inside of them. They have very very disrespectful rude employees that have attitudes all day and get mad when you ask them about items inside the store. The manager is the biggest problem, family dollar should be there instead of dollar general. Rude customer services and they need to be audited by the state effective immediately. No manager in their 60s or 70s with traditional races views should be managing a store full of ethnic residents. Remove this store and definitely retire that insane manager. Shouldnt be allowed

Very disappointed to see such disorganization at this store! Had always gone to the previous one a mile away before it was relocated to this new location last year with great success but had difficulty finding anything because aisles were blocked with carts and dolleys of new merchandise ready to be stocked on shelves.
