Had occasion to visit the Dillards in Willowbrook mall. Quality products (absolutely love the gold label no iron shirts). They don't seem to have significant sales (like Macy's might). It's pretty hard to find an employee on the floor to answer questions or help. When I shop Dillards I'll shop online and have it delivered.

A month ago I came to buy a few pairs of shoes. One pair a plain white tennis shoe. I purchase a Vionic brand on whites and a couple of pumps for work. Today after 3 wears of my tennis shoes I noticed that all the side of the sole was coming apart! This was a $120 pair of tennis shoes, not a cheap pair. I went home to change and took the pair of tennis shoes and receipt to the store and show them what happened. The called a manager and he didn’t even look at me while the other attendant was explaining my case. He stared by saying “well they are used” and of course I said “yes, that’s was my intention when I bought them, to use them, but it has to be a defect that a $120 shoes comes apart after a month and three times use” he told me that there was nothing he can do without a box or been used, even with the receipt. I told him I didn’t want a refund only a replacement. He keep saying that was normal wear and tear and all shoes will do that, regardless of the price. Even the cashier insisted on telling him that I didn’t want a refund and that I also had my receipt but he kept ignoring her and dismissing me.He was not even emphatic about it. No backing up the brands he sells or even trying to help. He told me he can only take back a shoe that he can resell again and there was nothing he can do about it. “Buy another brand” he said!!!..very disappointing and upset about paying for good shoes when they are really not. But more upset with the manager’s attitude and dismissive response.I usually buy all my shoes and perfumes form there . No more.

I bought a jacket at the Houston Gallaria Dillads a week ago for $139. Now its reduced permanently for $83. I took it back for a credit the sales lady "Carmen" said we don't do that you can return it if you want but we don't give credit. So I agreed to return it. I had the receipt and tags then she said the tag is not attached so I wont return it. it is very clear that the jacket is not worn since the extra button envelope is still attached. All US retailers are fair and treat customers fairly. I felt I was cheated out of $50 at Dillards Houston Galleria store. Will never shop there again. when the store policy is different from all other stores they should tell the customer. the customer service manager "Eddie" said you should read the back of the receipt. I just wanted to worn every one. Thanks

Manager called me to set up a time to come return the merchandise. She helpful and in exchanges, compensated me in a gift card as my refund. Honestly, I am extremely pleased on how they handle the review! Thank you to the manager of the store. I don't remember her name but she made a difference!

I visited this Dillards store to return an item today which I purchased several days ago in another state. I don’t return merchandise so was somewhat apprehensive but a significant cost was involved and the blouse was defective. The saleslady could not have been nicer. It was a very cordial transaction and needless to say I am a satisfied customer. Interactions with other employees today was also positive. It was a pleasure to do business will a company that actually appreciates their customers.

Luke in men's suits was on point, found me a suit in a crunch, very professional, and then found me a Tailor nearby to knock out alterations in a hurry. Amazing, needs a raise!!

They didn't have what I was looking for. The store is too crammed full of suff and you can't move around very well especially in a wheelchair. I asked an employee about a very common clothing item that I was looking for and they had no clue what it was or where to find it.

I walked into Dillards today for the first time in about a decade. I have an interview tomorrow and needed some nice clothes for it. As soon as I made it to the dress section, Alicia immediately greeted me with enthusiasm. I told her my situation and what I was after, and she immediately gave me every bit of her attention. She took my measurements and helped pick out some flattering attire. I was in and out in roughly 20 minutes. Thank you Alicia!

I am very disappointed in Dillard's. I purchased a dress (xl) and shoes on clearance. I was shopping for my fiancés party. Ended up not being able to FIT the dress, I put it in my car to bring to Dillard's. Between physical therapy, work, taking care of my house, kids, dogs and all other things, there was no real time to bring it back in 3 days. I brought it the following Monday, and now, they don't except 3 day returns. I understand policies, but I feel as a patron, if truthfully I'm not able to make it with the policy but the merchandise is sound condition and selling, why all of a sudden, I have to keep it. My Solution, I would like to exchange out my dress and shoes for a store credit or difference. It's incredible what certain companies will do for their customers. Dillard's doesn't care about the person, only the return policy date.

A couple of months ago I had bought a bed spread and some towels . Kim in home department was so nice and help me to the door and then waited till I brought the car around. That is above and beyond great customer service
