I love the CrossFit Weight room, the pool and the jacuzzi. Years ago my kids played flag football and baseball and they really enjoyed the teams. The Y meets my family's needs quite well.

I had an extremely frustrating experience with YMCA. They charged my account $117.20 without authorization. To make matters worse, when I tried to resolve the issue, only $87 was scheduled to be refunded at first, and Korrin, the representative I tried to speak with, refused to address my concerns directly.
This lack of communication and failure to provide a full refund upfront is completely unacceptable. I expected better service from the YMCA, but this experience has left me disappointed and upset. I strongly urge others to be cautious when dealing with this this YMCA.

An excellent variety of programs and features with incredibly friendly staff. The value of the services and options is unmatched at any other gym or community center. We are greeted by welcoming staff every time we enter. This is not just at the main desk, but every time we enter through the outdoor pool, enter to drop off the little one at the child watch center, enter to the main pool to talk to the life guards, enter a fitness class, or just about anywhere that we enter.
In case you missed the subtle comments above, in addition to all your standard gym or community center offerings of gym equiment, basketball, walking, etc., this place also has and OUTDOOR pool with small water slides, indoor pool with hot tub area, a child-watch area to so that parents can enjoy the other offerings, and fitness classes all included. This is all at a FAMILY price that is less than 1 or 2 memberships to any other local gym with an outdoor pool.

I had called and I understand they are busy but I had stated what I needed to do which was “change a lesson for tomorrow” Wilmer put me on hold for 15 minutes then after 15 minutes he said he couldn’t do it. The whole time he sounded confused as if he didn’t know what he was doing. If he couldn’t do it then that’s fine but let me know before you put me on hold for 15 minutes trying to re-schedule.

When they tried to process my card for my membership it didn’t work because my billing zip changed so instead of calling me to update it they wait a week and charge me late fees then tell me there’s nothing they can do. I explained to the guy that I had the money in my account it was a misunderstanding but he said I was screwed but he tried to assure me it wouldn’t happen again… they never emailed me and my bank never even declined a purchase from the ymca. I don’t think it would’ve been a big deal to refund the late fees since it was a mistake that they made no attempt to fix. All in all it’s only 30 dollars I’ll be okay but it’s the principle. Money doesn’t grow on trees and good customer service wouldn’t hurt.

One area for improvement is keeping young kids off the weight machines and free weights. Children aged 10 to 12 shouldn't be working out in the gym, especially when they tie up machines for 30 to 45 minutes, often just sitting there playing on their cell phones while their parents work out. This is unfair to other members.
Additionally, it would be beneficial if employees could help put the weights back in their proper places, as many members are inconsiderate and leave weights scattered around. Addressing these two issues would significantly enhance the experience at your facility, which already stands out due to your incredibly polite and great staff.

Their outdoor pool is not kid friendly they want you to have your kids arm length if they can't pass a swim test that most little children are afraid of. Even though it's not like they are allowed in the deep foot areas. The lifeguards are there bossing parents to make sure they keep their children that are there to have fun in arms length and the children all have on life vests. It seems like the lifeguards job is to yell at parents. I don't play that at all. If there is a job that needs to be minimized it's that one due to them not having anything possible to do other than yell at parents about taking care of their children in a pool in arms reach with a float. Spend your money else where or only on yourself don't add your kids to this plan if they are under 8 and can't thoroughly swim this is NOT a kid friendly environment. VERY STRESSFUL it did not used to be like this.

Here’s a facility with so many provided activities; do much that you can find something. The staff is very courteous and willing to assist. Even the maintenance crew are visible keeping the place clean and pleasant.
