I have been utilizing this place since 2016 and never had a problem until last week after the storm. I took both personal and business laundry to wash because I was ill. I had separated my personal and took in my own basket and my business where in laundry bags. When I returned, the owner gave me the closed and told me I never brought a basket. I told him I brought it in with clothes in it. He asked "*what do you want me to do?" He gave me some dirty basket and said I needed to clean it. My new bottles of detergent and fabric softener were almost gone. This leaves me to believe my detergent being used for others. I returned the basket and picked up my detergent never to return again. I don't recommend.

Absolutely glad I stopped into this Montrose area washateria. My dryer broke down and I had to find somewhere to dry my clothes before they became "sour" and this was actually the third stop since most of the other places wouldn't allow me to "dry" only.
The couple that runs the place was so genuinely kind and helpful. The husband/male attendant even asked me what I was drying and gave me honest advice about how many quarters to put in each dryer. Let's just say I would've put in a lot more and he said I didn't need to and the 50¢ was enough...and it was perfect!
Anyway, the place was extremely clean and well kept and even though they were about to close, they understood my dilemma and allowed me to use their dryers.
I highly recommend D & S Laundromat if you're looking for a washateria in the Montrose, Museum, Midtown area. They are welcoming, nice, honest, hardworking and very appreciative folks.

I recently tried the wash and fold service at D&S Coin Laundry and was blown away by the experience. The owners are incredibly kind and hardworking, creating a welcoming atmosphere the moment you step in. They handled my large laundry load with remarkable efficiency, delivering it perfectly clean and expertly folded in record time. Their attention to detail and commitment to quality service truly sets them apart. I wholeheartedly recommend D&S Coin Laundry for anyone seeking top-tier laundry services with a personal touch. Truly a gem!

D & S is the best place to refresh your down stuff items! We have a cat that has a tendency to cough up hairballs on the bed, and, unfortunately, most of the time a little bit seeps through the comforter cover, even when we catch it and clean it up right away. Because of this, and the fact that there's inevitably going to be cat dander collecting in our bedding over time, we have to frequently launder our California king down stuff comforter. I generally avoid dry cleaning chemical solvents, but especially for our bedding, so I've been bringing our comforters to D & S for about 3 years now. They always do an excellent job. Our comforters are fresh and in great condition. I drop it off and pick it up--D & S takes care of the rest for you. Most importantly, it's very affordable (I generally pay ~$32). I also love that they'll use your detergent if you bring your own in, so I always bring in my ECOS detergent.

Please don't leave your clothes and they close early with no sign will lock your clothes in building and open up and leave them unattended with homeless people coming in the building bad experience.

Literally walked half a mile round trip carrying 35 lbs of clothes excited that I could walk to a laundromat…boy was I wrong. I got here at 5:45, the place was closed! I’ve now read some of the reviews here saying the owner just decides to close shop at 4pm…. Working people get off at these times! There is no sign stating a closing time, do they not pay their water bill or electric bill to remain profitable? Raise your prices then, your regulars will still come…but seriously have a legitimate closing time. Especially during summer when the sun is up until 9!

I literally walked half a mile roundtrip in 90 degree heat lugging 30lbs of laundry happy that there was a place close by to do laundry.... To my surprise I got there around 5:50 today and there were chains around a locked door! No one inside at all, but a lot of machines open and ready for use. According to yelp it's to be opened until 9:30... but looking at the open times they only have the open time at 7am and no closing time listed. Like posh a sign saying you're permanently closed.

There is no sign in person, or online that indicates they close at 4p. I stopped in at 3:45; went to the window to ask for change. An Asian lady came to the window and rudely informed me that they close at 4p. Her manner was inappropriate and demeaning, especially considering the fact that that there were no signs indicating their proper close time. Save your money and go elsewhere to a business that values American values like customer service and proper business etiquette.

The laundromat is clean and the staff is friendly. It wouldn't hurt to restock the snack machines.

They close to the public now at 4pm, but there's nothing indicating that anywhere, online still says 6pm & they have a sign in the window at 4:25pm that says "Open, Come in". Just bad representation. Feel like they just want to be a drop-off service now. Which ok, whatever, just communicate that so people don't drive all the way here for nothing. Had to tell 3 other cars they were closed so they didn't get the same embarrassing turnaround after walking in with all their stuff.
