CVS
Hi. I purchased items from cvs. I paid for my items and was still standing at the register. … SELF REGISTER! While at a self register I decided to check the liner that I had just purchased to ensure that it wasn’t dried out. While standing there. A store employee walked up with another customer and started to scan items. ALL WHILE IM STANDING THERE. nothing in my hand besides the eyeliner pencil. The receipt still in the machine. The bag still in tact. Not in my hand. I said excuse you. Wait until I’m done. I told him he could have went to the empty SELF REGISTER that was totally empty next to me. Or to the counter to check him out himself. There wasn’t a line. I do not understand his unprofessionalism. The store supervisor was Hispanic. The sales rep was Hispanic. And the 2 other customers that were being helped by them were Hispanic. I totally felt racially profiled. I hate to take it there but the store manager made me feel that way. I asked her if she was the manager. And how to make a complaint. She kept asking me to sign the keypad instead of asking my question. She kept cutting me off everytime I asked her how to make a complaint. She then tried to refuse my refund by throwing her hands up. Mind you I am a metro employee with my uniform on. No way she could have thought that I was there to cause trouble or anything. That store is a problematic store as it is in downtown area.

It's unfortunate paying customes can't even use the restroom here. Not that one person not buying stuff matters .... but restricted restrooms make me turn and leave

I went to get same snacks on Saturday. I
Picked a few items with the yellow sale stickers typical of CVS. Half off of regular price. At the check out all the products on sale were regular price on the computer screen. The employee who voided the sale told me the sale start on Sunday . WHY TO PUT THE YELLOW SALE STICKERS ON PRODUCTS THAT WILL GO ON SALE A DAY LATER. Misguiding and tricky practice. The stickers only sale sale good until May 10.

300 Milam has to be the worst CVS pharmacy in all of Houston if not Texas. Friday around 1pm 04/04/25 my doctor sent in a script for eye infection drops. Around 2pm I saw that it had been filled and I called to have it delivered via the delivery service that I pay for every month. A nice pharmacy lady set it all up. At 4:50 that day I got a text message saying that my delivery was cancelled. I called and determined that the cancellation was for a different script that wasn’t needed but the temp pharmacist on duty then said that my eye script had a problem: it showed as “sold” at 2pm (which was when the lady pharmacist set it up) but the temp guy said it looked as if it had been picked up and asked if I had gotten it which I hadn’t. It sounded like the product was no longer in the store. He said he would look into it and get it corrected. Around 5:50 I received an out for delivery notification and then immediately a cancellation notification.
I called in again and got the temp guy and found out that the eye drops were waiting in the pickup bin after all and the delivery guy was there to pick them up. Temp guy says the order still has the wrong status and he won’t let the delivery guy pick them up and deliver them to me so I can treat my eye infection. I pleaded with the temp pharmacy guy to please give the eye drops to the delivery driver so that I can get them. He says that he is working hard to fix the computer status and won’t release the drops until he fixes it AND that it’s me holding things up because I am talking to him on the phone instead of letting him fix the computer status and that he MUST leave by 6pm. He said that if I didn’t get the script that evening that I would get it Saturday morning and they would call me. Saturday there is no call and no delivery. Saturday afternoon I check the status on the CVS “application” and the script is still listed as waiting on pick up. I use the “application” to request delivery be get an error message that something is wrong on the CVS side and to try again. Attempts on Sunday give the same error messages. Sunday afternoon I get a text from CVS that my script is ready for pick up. This time I try using the link from the text message and finally get it set up for delivery which I am now to expect it to be delivered Monday - a full three days late. Do you have any idea what can happen to your eye if you postpone treating an eye infection for three full days???? Apparently the pharmacist at CVS doesn’t know or, more likely, just doesn’t care. Do not use this CVS! They don’t care about the health of their customers. All the temp pharm bro cared about was getting the computer status flags set the way he wanted them and also that he could leave work on time at 6pm. Customer be damned.

Absolute scam, why is a small bag of jellybeans $6.99? CVS genuinely has the most insane prices I’ve seen.

Thankfully a Hispanic woman that works there consistently has a positive demeanor helpful and knows how to do everything when it comes to the registers, forget her name but she does a great job.

Horrifically incompetent pharmacy. Consistently understaffed. No space for spare drugs. 2-3 calls to get anything. 100% fail rate over a year. Staff are nice, but that is the only saving grace. App doesn’t work, texts don’t work, never answer the phone, etc.

I hate that you can't talk to a person... This is the worse pharmacy. They don't take calls, they don't return calls and they won't give you a date when they are going to refill your prescription. Zero customer service options. They just leaving you stressed out and wondering if you are going get your mediation. I really need to find new pharmacy.
