I went to the minute clinic because my throat hurt and $200 later I have an allergic reaction to the antibiotics. I decided to go to a hospital because my allergic reaction was getting worse and I was having trouble breathing. They told me that I actually had something completely different and the antibiotics they gave me were causing the allergic reaction. I then called back and they said they couldn’t prescribe me different antibiotics without doing another $150 visit.

Very confused. I went in recently and was told by the pharmacy that CVS no longer has a contract with GoodRX. Odd. I called GoodRx and they told me the opposite! I was told elsewhere that CVS is having issues with GoodRx. I had to get my meds filled at Walgreens instead.

The staff doesn’t know what they’re talking about ever, has zero knowledge of insurance which seems like it should be a requirement of the job. They told me not to come back to their location because my insurance wouldn’t cover me buying medication there. I’m currently looking at a notice from my insurance which states I HAVE to use CVS for 90 day prescriptions or they won’t be covered. This is the only reason I will continue using CVS because I have to otherwise I wouldn’t give them my business. It’s clear they don’t want my business as well. Too bad cause I will be back.

This review is not just about the Richmond location, but all of the CVS's. They do not believe in customer service period. I went to buy an item and when I approached the check out, there was a man the cashier was already assisting in front of me. When he finished his transaction, she looked at me and asked "will be cash or credit"? I said credit and she replied please use the automatic machine. What a disservice to the public! Why did she send me away when she was already standing there at the register? This is why I do not like CVC. Of course when I went to the automated cashier, there was a problem and she had to come over and she had to help me anyway.? What a waste of time.

Employees are very friendly and helpful. The store was super clean and almost fully stocked with everything ones needs. The restrooms are also super clean but you need a key to open them from the front cashier! I went this Sunday morning it wasn't packed with people either. The front cashier helped me get some energy drinks from the back and seemed to love doing there job! Will be returning to this CVS more often from now on. The pharmacy was also on point and helped me with all my medications!
