I’ve been coming here for years and try to visit whenever I’m in town (moved to Austin). There are some really great finds here - most notably I love my matching green silk KENZO set (top and skirt) and some of my favorite ceramic bowls are from here.

For women’s clothes, this is truly the best thrift store I’ve ever been to. Fewer home goods & baby clothing options, but that’s a small price to pay for an impeccably well-organized & well-curated selection of dresses, tops, bottoms, shoes, & accessories. I’ve found lots of high-end items here in great condition.

The shop is pretty clean and quaint! They have special sales each day. I wish they had more pieces for a younger demographic too. The prices are pretty cheap, but not really goodwill cheap. They have a cool book room near the shoe area that I never noticed until my 5th or 6th time there. The location is in the middle of a bunch of local Montrose restaurants so I often come here to browse as I wait for a table at one of those restaurants.

Legendary shop in Montrose. Good selection of linens/throws, dishes, leathers, dress clothes, footwear, and even a smaller room with CDs, vinyls, movies books etc behind the register. Really something for everyone. Just heed their hours, because they always close earlier than I think they do. Prices are quite fair for Montrose considering what other consignment stores on Westheimer are charging. You can get good quality clothes here for a fair price. Even boutique items are priced fairly in terms of age, brand, material etc. Tags typically read off these things also, which I find immensely helpful. Deals vary by day, and I think it changes frequently enough. If you come here often, you're bound to leave with something.

Nice shop. Clean and well organized. Fair price. First time visit with my mom on a Wednesday. Pretty busy traffic in and out but no problem with finding a parking. We got a very nice set of decorative hanging plates. The lady who checked us out saw my mom and let us know there is additional discount for seniors. Win win. Will definitely be back.

The thrift store magic is back! The store leadership has returned to kindness and customer service! A year ago or so, the prices were off (in my opinion) and the customer service from store leadership was not inviting to some customers, but it seems the store has returned to a welcoming and fun environment. Thank you Cottage, because this is one of my favorite shops and thrift shopping here was always fun.

We had our first visit here today. Overall, it was a very clean and organized store with plenty of quality merchandise and nice staff. Pricing was generally fair and easy to understand. We’ll definitely return!
