I love this place! April is one of the best trainers I've had. She really cares about helping you to achieve your goals by working around your schedule, your budget and any physical restraints you may have. She is very thorough in evaluating physical mobility prior to beginning training and then throughout to determine progress. She brings years of experience and knows how to motivate you to push yourself beyond your comfort zone. I really like that she gets creative with your workouts so you never get bored. I love coming here and would definitely recommend!

I've been working out with April for about a year, and she has positively changed my understanding of not only my physical health but mental health as well. I love how she really puts care in her work out programming and how she caters to every individual's different needs and circumstances.

I started working with April in May 2019 after I moved back to Houston for work and I have to say it has been one of my best decisions. April is a great trainer and has a wealth of knowledge on physical fitness but above all she is a great person that really cares about you. Your workouts can make range from heavy weights to light weights to a great stretch session it really depends on you. So you have total control of your workout program.I would recommend Core Theory Fitness to anyone.

Amazing that there is meditation ♀️ done through FaceTime for me. The online ability helps big time. Pretty sure Skype and other online ways to go through personal training, yoga and meditation. April is SO HELPFUL ? ? ?

April changed my life! I came to her searching for a healthier lifestyle, and seven months later, I am not only in the best physical condition of my life, but I have also created healthier habits in my nutrition and daily attitude. April encourages total wellness and mindfulness. She gets to know her clients on a personal level in order to tailor her fitness programs to meet the specific needs of each individual client. I am a member of her semi-private sessions (3 people max) and I still feel that my workouts are highly individualized. She also attends conferences and lectures regularly and is always incorporating new ideas and takeaways into her workouts. In addition, she offers yoga in her in-home studio. With "the core" at the center of her personal philosophy, she is the total package! I would recommend her to a person of any age, health, or physical ability. She has something for everyone!

They have a private gym / private studio located conveniently near downtown, Houston Heights, EaDo and Washington Corridor. She takes an individualized, personalized and customized approach to your specific goals. April cares a great deal about her clients, goes the extra mile, and delivers excellent results. The intimacy of her gym and yoga studio make the experience approachable and empowering. She also has a great series of apps to track your goals, progress and milestones.

She is creative with your personalized workout, flexible with your schedule, an incredible listener and set you up for success! My progress has been beyond my expectations. I developed a more positive and routinized lifestyle; which benefitted me during college and currently at my new job. The weight I wanted to lose was lost, and now we are working on muscle gaining. I highly recommend April and Core Theory Fitness for all your health/fitness goals.

I’ve completed the first 4 weeks of April’s 12 week program, and I’m SO SO pleased with these results. The workouts have the most perfect combination of cardio, interval training, and resistance training, yielding fabulous results! Not only having I seen great growth and muscle definition, I’ve also noticed the parts of the workouts that were crazy tough for me at the start are now totally manageable!! I love having this personalized and specialized workout and nutrition plan!!!

I’ve completed the first 4 weeks of the 12 week program, and WOW do I feel amazing!! I’ve been on the Fat Loss nutrition and workout plans and they have been fabulous!!! April’s workout plans have the perfect amount of cardio and resistance training, and what used to be difficult at the start of the program is a simple warm up now!! I’ve noticed incredible definition and muscle growth, and I’m so so pleased with these results!!!
