The owner Greg Compean put us through a lot of pain when we were most vulnerable after the loss of our loved one. After we chose to go to another funeral home he held our loved one until we paid a fee. He used intimidation and fear mongering to obtain $$$$. Avoid this funeral home at all costs.

On behalf of The Gonzales Family, we would like to thank everyone at Compean Funeral Home for the support provided to us during the unexpected loss of our loved one. Attempting to navigate this process on our own, during such a difficult time, proved to be a challenge. During my initial conversation with Greg Compean, he immediately assured me that we could provide my father with the service he deserved. He provided me with some helpful information needed to plan and prepare for next steps. Mr. Compean was always quick to respond and answered all of my questions. Without Mr. Compean's guidance, I am not sure our family would have been able to honor my father's last wishes. The service was more than I could have ever expected. The family and staff at Compean Funeral Home are extremely compassionate, professional, thoughtful, and will put you at ease throughout your time there. The funeral home is gorgeous and provided additional spaces for our family and friends to use. Access to the kitchen, allowed our family to bring food and drinks while also having a comfortable space for everyone to gather to celebrate the life of my father. Our family is eternally grateful to have the opportunity to use Compean Funeral Home. In addition, my heart is forever content knowing my father had a beautiful service at the funeral home and cemetery with the wonderful support of the Compean Team!

The family of Gamaliel Perez is eternally grateful for the five plus star service and support extended to us during this unexpected loss that stunned us. We are eternally grateful for the seamless service we received from my initial call to Mr. Compean, who returned all calls promptly as we moved from the planning / preparation, to the service and the committal at Forest Park East. Mr. Compean and his compassionate team helped us design & execute a unique, celebration of life service and send-off that aligned with my Uncle's vibe. The keen attention and care given to the preparation of my handsome and dapper Uncle was evident--he looked chulo como siempre! Last, but not least, our family and friends all commented that they all felt "en casa" right at home at Compean Funeral Home---the chapel, kitchenette, outdoor patio space, bathrooms and sitting areas were super clean and cozy. Mil Gracias! A thousand thank you's to the amazing Compean team!

Very pleased with the services that were provided for my husband. Mr. Compean was very understanding and answered all my questions and concerns he treated us like family he helped me every step of the way as I had never had to plan anything like this before. Everything was beautiful including the services at the cemetery.

Compean Funeral Home is second to none in service and affordable arrangements for our dearest friend. Their facilities are the most elegant in the entire Houston area that even include kitchen facilities. We were pleased with their devoted staff that attended to our every need and carried our wishes as agreed. I highly recommend them.....

Compean Funeral Home really came through for me and my family . I was very pleased with every aspect from beginning to end. Everyone was very professional kind and compassionate and very patient through the most difficult time in my life as I lost my 32 year old son . Last but not least - the prices were very reasonable.

First time ever dealing with a very close death, my family and I had no idea how to deal with something like this. Compean Funeral Home staff made the process really simple for my family and I during difficult and hard times. Vanessa and Mayra helped me a lot, thank you guys for allowing us to have our services here. Everything was very beautiful from start to finish. One thing I will say is that the funeral home should consider updating their system where they play the slideshow of a loved one. Other than that, the services were great! Thank you Deacon Michael Garcia for the prayers. Hopefully not any time soon but I will definitely recommend this funeral home to anyone. Thank you again!
