Man, this Best storage company in the city. I had just relocated here from San Diego and Columbus, Ohio and they allow me to ship my personal belongings to them and that is good customer service I highly recommend you guys if you’re looking for any storage unit self storage companies here over on Washington Avenue definitely come check out community self storage. The office is highly clean and neat I’ll definitely be back to buy a storage unit if I have to store my things.

Oh my .. what an awful experience ... And the employees are the worst! Mary the manager accused me of sleeping in my unit on the third day of my contract ... Breached our contract .. changed my facility hours from 5 am - midnight to 9 am - 6 pm .. talk about getting ripped off. She would stop by my unit and insinuate that I had just woken up .. the day after the hurricane .. she and Sara were just awful to me ... I was dirty and storing some things due to my house suffering during the storm. I was in the elevator on a Sunday and went downstairs to use the ladies room and unbeknownst to me .. after 6 pm I do not have access to the elevator... I was livid. That place is a disaster ... So happy I moved facilities!! Community Storage and the employees are TERRIBLE, AWFUL people!!!

They have the latest access time (midnight) of all the competition. Good customer service from everyone who works in the office. Units with electricity are extra. Restrooms are clean. Basically no trash receptacles.

Said I could pickup my van after hours. Never provided a code to get the vehicle. Spent almost 2 hours trying to get it resolved and I couldn’t. Go anywhere else if you can

Absolutely the worst bookkeeping service ever designed. I assume relatives are doing the bookkeeping because no serious business would keep a bookkeeper that gets the payments wrong month after month going on years. I have gone over and over with this group that the payments are being made on time. They again and again charge late fees where there has not been a late payment. They have even threatened to sell my articles in storage all within a 15 day period and the payment having already been made. If they are so adamant about the date of the payment, they should look at the payments online to see that the payments are made by or before the 5th. Yet, their bookkeeping group continues to charge late fees. Since I can only call the facility where I have a unit, they do not put their phone numbers on their letters, they do not list the bookkeeping division, they will not give the contact information for the bookkeeping to get this corrected. I send them an e-mail of the payments and copy all their known offices, they still get the payment dates wrong and charge late fees. I use to pay the late fee thinking that I may have missed the payment by a few hours until I started tracking their activities. This happens again and again and again - I do mean for years. Watch your bills with them closely.

I came into the store today as I have many times in the past seeking to rent a flat bed dolly. I walked in and promptly and warmly greeted the staff. Both individuals looked at me as if they had 1) perhaps never seen a human before and 2) a customer. As I moved towards the dolly, placed my hands on it, and again stated that I was seeking to rent it - the staff looked at me as if I was asking if they both wanted a free trip to the moon - mouth open staring at me. The staff then said "no, those are reserved". Totally fair. But, again the delivery was the oddest, unprofessional communication. Happy Thanksgiving!

Go elsewhere. You will deal with constant billing errors no matter how you pay. Getting the account back into the actual correct status can take a couple months. Has happened to me many times over the years and it is getting ridiculous and reason to find somewhere else for self storage.

The gate is always broken and there is very little space to navigate, they have multiple businesses at this location which makes it difficult for parking and unloading/reloading for customers. The driveway is super narrow

They go up in rent every 6 months. I always have issues with payments not going through properly. Wouldn't recommend.

Pain to deal with. My SO and I have a unit and they can't seem to get their automatic payments to work. We constantly have to call in order to pay because they tell us we have a past due balance. For a self storage facility that has to do the bare minimum to take care of their customer, they can't even do that. It's frustrating and annoying to deal with the same issue month after month.
