I learned to appreciate arthropods (look it up!). Sitting in the butterfly center was peaceful, especially since you need to be sure not to step on any. It was also delightful to see young bodies wander and explore the many types of butterflies. For a $20 donation you can set a new butterfly free to take its first flight ?

Place is very beautiful. But an older female staff member with short hair is a karen. Did not let my kids enjoy the place. As soon as we got inside started following us like we will take all the plants and butterflies. My child tried to go up on the rock to see the python because it was in the corner and couldn't see it she can immediately said to my daughter get of don't climb up there. Any where we went she was right behind us. "Don't touch this, Don't touch that" ruined the experience for me and my family. My brother found an injured butterfly and showed her that "look she us hurt can u help her" ... she replied " well if you get out of my way may be I could do something " picked up the butterfly and walked away... extremely rude. She was acting like she did us a favor that she let us in. RUDE RUDE RUDE.

Really spectacular space to chill with the butterflies. It’s a well made venue with multiple floors and not just butterflies! Definitely worth the price

Nice place. It is worth visiting. Sitting down to enjoy such a precious place seems like an Oasis in the middle of Houston. Great and wonderful experience. I loved it.

This was my second visit to the Butterfly Center and I really enjoyed it. The spectacular colors on the butterfly's wings always amaze me and remind me of Nature's beautiful creation. I'd suggest booking tickets in advance as they have a cap on the number of people allowed in each time slot. Or you could call them to check the availability. This place is located inside the Museum of Natural Science in Houston.

So many beautiful butterflies, all shapes and sizes. They were fluttering all around us, landing on flowers and even on people! I could have stayed there all day just watching them. Definitely recommend checking out the butterfly exhibit if you ever get the chance.
