Pine juice gives you a clue what alcohol tastes like but without the affects, thank you this great Igbo/Haseau family for openings up in our neighborhood.

I have been driving all day looking for an African store. I saw this CKC online and was really happy. I drove 30 minutes just to come to CKC. I walked into CKC African store and was really hoping to find Bitterballs which is found mostly in African store. I got in the store and no one greeted me. This guy just sat there and watched TV. I got angry and walked out. Like how you can't say hi to a person who is about to buy from you?. The last time I checked hello was free. And if I can't get that, you can't get my money. They do not have anything good anyways. Wasted gas and time. Safe yourself and your will thank me

I went to CKC African Food Store on Bissonnet and Gessner to make an Okro Stew. I purchased red palm oil, dried flavored shrimp, fufu, and some extensions inside the store. The store owner was willing to show and suggest items to make my dish tasty. He was honest and truthful to what I needed for my African dish. It is small but, I really enjoyed my day. The also carry shea butter, Dashiki dresses and shirts, extensions, food, and other miscellaneous items. I would suggest you look to see what you can find. The Dashiki were over priced but the food and other items were reasonable prices compared to other specialty stores in the Southwest Area. I will go back again it was a great experience and everything was prefect addition to my ghanian dish. It was well worth the trip it is far from my place of residence, but if you want quality products it requires a little travel. Thank you for CKC African store for being hospitable for a first impression visit.
