Chevron gas station. But they have air at some of the pumps so you can top up air in the safety of a well lit forecourt. Of course you probably shouldn’t top up the air while filling up gas

Tried two pumps. One wouldn't take debit and the other was taking several minutes to pump one gallon.

The man that’s here lateat night is so rude and slow. I’d rather go down the street to the timewise. This man is really disrespectful. I’ve been here so many times and I have been to so many gas stations and I’ve never felt so disrespected. Go to the next gas station. As a woman getting off late, he takes so long. And then he talks crazy to ppl.

The Pluses!! Great course!! Great energy! Best marathon spectators in the country!! It’s a huge undertaking to organize and for the most part they do it right. I have run every year since 2011 and volunteer every year at Race Packet pick up/Check-in - also great experience. The Delta ? What is the problem with the Restrooms/changing facilities. After running 26.2 miles the last thing I want to do is have to use a port-a-potty!! And, as for changing facilities - partitioning off a SPACE for women to change with no privacy what so ever is lazy, cheap, ridiculous, insulting, uncivilized!!!!!. Theses areas are easily accessed by anyone accidentally or otherwise. Also the top of the changing SPACE/AREA is open - I know that there are cameras in GRB and with the use of drones anything is possible. This is NOT OK!! In fact it is insensitive and totally disrespectful to those of us who are more modest whether for personal or religious reasons who will not undress in front of complete strangers. There are more than enough restrooms in the GRB convention center that can be made accessible to the runners. So after you’ve paid $130-$150 and ran 26.2 miles you cannot even change out of wet clothes without having your dignity assaulted by having to strip down in front of complete strangers. C’mon Houston you can do much better than this. I really wanted to take a photo of this because it is the most upsetting part of running the Houston Marathon. The second negative for me was the so called Post race Breakfast - this year due to COVID we were given a food items in a sack. Ok so there’s COVID and we should be careful but really - no tables and chairs so you have no choice but to eat on the floor -is this hygienic-NO , and this is after using a port-o—potty, which we all know is one the least hygienic restroom facilities you can use, oh yes and since there are no bathrooms- so you also cannot wash your hands after using the port-a-potty!!! … and we are worried about COVID - isn’t this totally contradictory to protecting the health of the participants???? Totally unacceptable.

This is easily one of the best (if not the best) organized marathons I have ever attended. From start to finish it is flawless. The volunteers are great and the city embraces the race. I highly recommend!!

This race is run by complete lunatics. I have multiple doctors advising that I cannot run this race this January as I have a very serious back injury that may need surgery so I requested nicely that they give me a deferral to the 2023 race. They are denying my request because they have a “no refund” policy. First of all, I am not asking for a refund, I am asking for a deferral. Second of all, I registered in July, now that the price has gone up to register they will make more

Gas ok. Significant price difference if paying credit/debit vs. cash. Also of importance, all of the bodega accessories that are sold inside, such as roses and oil diffusers or oil burners, are priced very reasonably. There is a reason for that. The aforementioned items, while usually made of their respective, appropriate materials, are made of plastic here, rendering them completely unusable. When I approached the overnight window, shortly after purchasing them through the same window, after realizing their composition and resultant lack of functionality, the person working inside pretended to be mopping the floor, behind the last row of shelving, out of sight, even though he could clearly see me walking back up to the window, and I him. Beware of this store. I doubt their pumps would pass a state inspector with a 5 gallon prover either.
