Absolutely love! Cute to walk around. You can get local produce, healthy cooking fats, pasture raised and grass fed local meat and eggs, and various fermented items such as kvas (it was yum!). Can also order raw milk to pick up here.

Friendly staff. Great selection of raw milk cheeses, the best pastured chicken I've found around town. Lots of great, in-season Texas produce and local vendors.

This place is super cool, I've volunteered here and bought stuff and I'm just so glad this place exists because it's good to have access to healthy food

My first stop for groceries, the variety of products available make it easy to forget about Kroger and HEB. I love that my food budget goes back into the community.

I love the Co-Op. They always have tons of healthy and fresh options. My favorite selfcare companies, Brazos Soap Supply and UnMask Wellness, are now in store there.

I had gone to the Market Square Park Farmers Market and learned about this co-op, I was so interested in visiting and buying produce so I decided to visit for the first time today, around 12pm. I loved the location, it's very central to where I usually am on the daily basis. Everything is priced at a premium, which is totally understandable because they have hyper local products in this store. They have a lot of unique things that you won't find anywhere else and the produce is vast. There are only a few reasons why I'm not giving it five stars just yet. Firstly, when I had visited the farmer's market, I was told at the eggs are pasture raised. But at the co-op, the exact same eggs say free range. If you know anything about humane standards, there is a huge difference. Pasture raised usually means that the chickens have free range of open air land, and free range means that they may have access to pasture, or could be in an enclosed space like a barn, free to roam, with no sunlight, in most cases. So I'm very curious to understand why there's a descriptancy here. There was a young lady who was working and she was very sweet and kind, she explained everything and was very informative. We had a great chat, but I can't say that I was 100% comfortable because there was a young man who assisted me during checkout and he just didn't fit the vibe per se. He just didn't seem like he was happy to be there or he didn't like his job very much. Not to mention the young lady who I was having a positive experience with offered us some samples of a fruit, and after she had left to the back, he spit his sample out in front of me. I was trying to act like I didn't notice but it was unpleasant and I commented on it and said "I guess you didn't like it!" And he said he did....It's also worth mentioning that after I had mentioned it was my first time visiting, I had asked if I could get a total on all of the 50% off produce that they had on a table and he basically told me that it would be 50% off the price. I explained to him I have dyscalcula which is basically dyslexia for numbers, and if he could total it out for me, that would be great. I have an anxiety disorder so checking out is always a daunting task for me, I had somebody behind me waiting in line and I felt bad cuz I had produce all over the counter and he just stared blankly at me when I was trying to decide whether I should bag it for myself or they should, as the young lady had offered. At some point I felt like I was not good enough to be there, or felt that I just didn't belong there. I'm very passionate about sustainability and cruelty free living, it is my passion and I live it day by day. I really love the store and I want to come back but I'm considering maybe just getting the farm share so that I don't have to spend so much time at the store next time. Maybe re-train the guy? I don't know. Just very bizarre.

? The people here are super-nice.
? Not meaning to disparage the business, but the price for everything here is WAY MORE than I'm willing to pay. But, I've been spoiled from buying at Caninos for so many years.
? They do occasionally have produce you can't get elsewhere.
? They have cookbooks here, too.

Is your raw milk certified by any authority? I have recently made a switch to raw dairy and I am very reluctant/scared to buy raw milk for just any random place. Because I have a young child and do not want him to get sick. Thank you
