Love it! Took my Husky from the time he was 4 months old until his passing at 11. I now take my 6 year old Aussie and she loves it too! Local, family owned, great grooming, awesome for boarding, nice dogs, everything I need!

I have been looking for a place to my very nervous Maltipoo mix after previous bad experiences at other groomers. I've had to pick him up half done because he was too anxious to sit still. Then I heard about Carlisle's through a friend. They don't put them in kennels which I think helped his nerves! And they were so quick! They did such a good job, he looked so cute and I was so thankful! I've been back since and the quality of his groom was consistent! I'll be back! I absolutely recommend!

The groomer knows one thing & it’s clippers. I specifically requested my dog not be groomed shorter than 1.5” to 2” and once again he shaved her down. The owner tried telling me that was an 1.5” when it’s not even 1/2 centimeter. I will never take any of my pets there again, tired of them not honoring my request & just doing what they want. Even the shaving was botched. I will be sure & share my experience and show pics of what the result was.

Sadly been taking my Pets there for years for convenience. But last week was the last time. They never do what I request. I took my dog and requested she’d be left with 1.5-2” of her beautiful hair which I’d been caring for. Once again he shaved her down. He knows no measurements and only knows how to shave them down, and even that was horribly done. Never again! And I’ll be sure and voice my experience.

Grace and Arturo Olmos treat your pet as their own. I have taken my dogs to them for over 20 years. My Angel Golden Girl Lily, Precious Skipper my beloved angel Rat Terrier and now Joey, my big heart in a 5 pound body. Whether for grooming or play day, your special four-legged family member will always be happy to see Grace or Arturo and greet you with a smile upon your return. Grace and Arturo are so highly thought of by their devoted clients, two and four-legged, that an owner’s beloved pet(s) have been willed to the Olmos care for a forever loving home under their loving care and devotion.

My dog always leaves Carlisle’s happy and well groomed! Thanks for being our regular grooming spot. I know Marshall is in good hands when I drop him off for grooming, day care, or boarding

I take My dog to Carlisle’s every 6 weeks or so for his grooming. They do a great job making him look fresh! She loves his time playing with the other dogs and always comes home tired (good thing!) I’ve used Carlisle’s dog sitting services as well on days I know will have long work hours. I know he’s safe and happy at Carlisle’s.

Found a dog running in the middle of Shepherd at Westheimer. Poor baby was covered in stickers and would have assumed he was a stray if it wasn’t for the the collar. With the help of a few other kind people we were able to get the dog by Raising Canes which means the dog ran ALL THE WAY down Fairview to Shepherd (near Torchy’s) and all along westheimer’s traffic. Poor baby had extreme diarrhea and needed water and allegedly had only been out for an hour. Once the owner of Carlisle’s appeared she did not seem at all sincere and put blame on the dog who broke the fence that let 3 escape. I, as a pet owner, would never put my dog in the care of this business owner. As stressful of the situation was for her it should have been handled in a better and more empathetic way as pets are family members and this dog belong to an owner out of town. It is unacceptable to have a broken fence if your business is to care for animals. The fence should be double sided or have wiring on the back to prevent escaped pets if there is lack of supervision. Unacceptable!
