This place is great. The rooms are spacious and clean and the employees are very friendly and helpful. The location is also great and there are several great places to dine within walking distance.

Our room is wall to wall with the laundry room, 24hr coffee machines, exit door, it is very loud, you feel the vibration of the washing machines against our wall Our head board is on. The machines Bang on the wall . The slaming of the washing machine doors is heard and felt too. All I've done here is cry out of frustration. The people upstairs are very loud as well. And I smelled weed in the hallway by our room. Our kitchen sink don't work either. I'm sleep deprived and sad. Don't stay here. It's hood here very hood. Ghetto to say the least. This place has made me question my very existence in life. I haven't prayed this much in ages. I also gave this room a blessing, the vibes here are dark. Something negative happened in this room. Could be on the verge of being haunted. Lots of residual energy in this room. Warning don't stay in this room.Rooms: Need lots of updates.

Not a 5 star, but the place is pretty good, bed was decent. AC worked TV had good channels seemed pretty clean all the regular chef microwave fridge dishes. Well worth the money.Rooms: The suite was real nice.Walkability: We can walk to pretty much any food you want.

Calm place to stay in the middle of city. Friendly staff, enough parking any time.Good for long term stay, this is my second time stay in 3 months time.

One of the most disappointing hotel experiences. The only redeeming quality of this establishment is its proximity to the City Centre, despite being situated right next to a post office and directly behind a Fuddruckers restaurant. Unfortunately, even with this advantageous location, the hotel's safety and security left much to be desired. Inadequate lighting both in the parking lot and around the hotel, which led us to use the side entrance closest to our room, added to our concerns. To make matters worse, the service provided by the staff and housekeepers was below par, and the overall cleanliness of the hotel was severely lacking. The pervasive odors of urine, weed, and garbage lingered in the air. The frame above our bed seemed to have been tainted with animal urine and was disturbingly sticky.Regrettably, the air conditioning system barely functioned, despite being set to a chilly 62 degrees. Non-operational windows prevented any fresh air or airflow from entering the room, compounding the discomfort caused by the malfunctioning AC unit. The carpets in both the living room and bedroom appeared neglected and had not seen a proper cleaning in quite some time.Adding to the already dire situation, we encountered several roaches in our clothes, suitcase, around the bed, and even in the kitchen. When we tried to report these issues to the front desk during check-out on Sunday around 10:30am, there was no one there to address our concerns, even after waiting for more than 10 minutes for someone to arrive, leaving us with the impression that they may not have taken the matter seriously even if they were present. In sum, our entire experience felt akin to staying in a subpar college dorm room and was a profound letdown. I would highly recommend avoiding this hotel!

Dog pee, leaky floors, roaches, and kitty litter. The staff was great and did their best, but there is only so much lipstick you can put on a pig. My shower had a hole in the bottom of the tub making the tile in the bathroom squishy. The whole hotel smelled like pee. I saw multiple roaches. They never cleaned my room after a cat stayed there from the previous stay and there was cat litter all over the carpet. Very unsanitary.

The shower pressure was not the best and the door after hours didn't work we had to call and ask the person at the front desk to open the door whenever we came in between midnight and 2 in the morning so I felt bad to keep bothering them but the customer service made up for everything that was wrong I would definitely go back to stay I love the location it was hidden but not anything that you couldn't find. Love the kitchen in the room I didn't get to use it but plan to the next time I go

Jennifer and her team are wonderful. This place has the very much needed friendliest staff and comfortable atmosphere. The location is relatively convenient being closer to Randalls and City Center. Lovely place. Helpful team and amazing management.

They canceled my reservation because they entered the wrong dates for check in and check out. I had a reservation confirmation clearly showing the correct dates but they didn't have a room because they canceled it 2 days before I arrived without even trying to contact me. I wasted time on the phone with the reservation company as well as my company . They weren't even apologetic about it. They do not serve breakfast though some Sonestas do. The room was ok but a little dusty and the dishwasher had cups in it.

What can I say...our stay here was AMAZING! Great location for what we needed, and GREAT location for what we wanted...all kinds of stuff within walking(!) or short driving distance. The room was clean and comfortable; the desk chair/kitchen access was just a perfect little touch. Hot water in the shower and sinks was NEVER a problem (so nice when that happens). They have a lovely shaded outdoor sitting area under some trees that was so delightful for some evening drinks and relaxation.But most of all, I want to thank, thank, THANK the GM Tanja and Jalen for being just wonderful to us! My friend got in super early, but Tanja helped her check in early so she wouldn't have to wait on me to get to Houston. My friend was singing her praises when she got settled. When I finally got there, Jalen was so helpful and all smiles, and Tanja knew exactly who I was when I said my friend was already here. We had a wonderful chat as I checked in and made sure all the payment stuff was settled. Excellent management and staffing is so underrated, especially when it comes to the hospitality industry. I cannot say enough fantastic things about Tanja and Jalen. Give them big raises. They are SUPERB ambassadors for your brand. Both my friend and myself will be staying with Sonestra in the future as a result; and this will definitely be one of my hotels of choice when I return to Houston.Safety: SUPER safe...never once felt an iota of a threat or menace. And it was quiet. I barely heard other guests through the walls even when it was stone cold silent standing in the bathroom.
