Thought about opening an account here but had a weird and unpleasant experience, thank goodness dodged a bullet. Not a real bank and felt very unwelcoming. Might be a fit for certain kind of people. Their online reviews are terrible.... Should have read it first before walking in.

I have banked here for several years because I live in the neighborhood & it's convenient. The folks at the Kirby address are very nice and always accommodating. The Fluent 3d party system is pretty bad but I don't use it that much. Cadence has been bought by another bank & the systems have been merged. Customers were given lots of notice for the merger but somehow nothing has worked properly. I bank online. The site is inoperable. I have been shut out of my account for 4 days. I'm on hold at the customer service line for 30 minutes at a time. I walked in to the bank for help & the associate couldn't even get someone on the phone internally. I tried to send an email to the HELP line at the site & it would not submit!!! This is a Jerry Seifeld show. They can take the money but you cannot get the money back. The only reason I gave them 2 stars is because they are nice! Now they are closing the Kirby site so I guess I'll close my account altogether if I CAN!!!

This is worse bank in houston. I have been with them for too many years They have a horrible 3rd party system called fluent that is virtually inoperable. The call center is in the Deep South and populated by the least trained people I have ever dealt with But worst of all the branch NEVER returns calls NEVER It is a pain to extricate from a bank but once this virus is over I am out of there Call me and when I stop screaming I can give your horrible details. God it could not even be f****** possible to hate this hideous joke of a terrible excuse for a gag version of a piss-poor bank any more than I f****** do. It's not open on Saturdays. It doesn't have customer service after I don't know when but it's never available when you f****** need it it's not even 24 hours on weekdays to say nothing of a f****** holiday when you know for sure you can have three hundred grand in your f****** checking account (and I'm not talking about just deposited and uncollected I'm talking about been sitting there all f****** year) and they're still going to decline you for a $1,000 goddamn charge and your officer isn't going to respond to repeated emails on the issue even though they f***** up you buying a last minute Christmas gift but didn't mind providing you that service free of charge and offering no editorial commentary. So let me do that for them oh my f****** god run run run and then keep running and cover your tracks from this place.. It is so bad do not come to this awful goddamn Bank unless you need to punish yourself. And oh yeah, I almost forgot...if you think it won't be a big deal that they have some lame-ass discover DEBIT card that you never f****** heard of think again because not everybody takes it and it works in some very strange way with most of the new terminals anyway where it's going to decline you being run as debit but not as credit on some days and other days the other way works but the point is it doesn't matter how much f****** money you have they don't let you spend your own f****** money and when they throw up a roadblock they are not available to help fix the problem they can't stop f****** causing. AND IF YOU NEED EIGHT HUNDRED BUCKS OUT OF THE ATM BC THAT'S WHAT YOU'RE USED TO GETTING EVERY F****** WEEK AND MAKEING ONLY ONE TRIP DON'T THINK YOU CAN DO IT BECAUSE THEY THROW UP A F****** ROADBLOCK AFTER 500 BUCKS EVEN FOR GROWN UPS. I swear to God I begged them to fix this more than twice no reply they don't give a f*** they don't even pretend to give a f*** which I guess is at least consistent and honest but I'll followtheir lead being so f****** honest it's honestly the worst f****** experience you could never have imagined you'd be offered without catching at least some hint of one of them cracking a smile because they have to be punking you, you know, to be honest.
