Love this place, homey and intimate feel, customer service is great! Came in for keys, and came out with so much more! Pluses 1) key service is awesome 2) amazing garden area, plenty of cute mats, hoses, sprinklers etc - yay I found the plastic garden ribbon here - that was out of stock at the other chain places 3) they also have pet stuff 4) stickers for my mailbox 5) lots of garden tools and dirts for the yard Probably a good place to get gifts for folks too Areas to improve None Highly recommended! Good value too!

Idk if they treat everyone like they did me but all I did was walk in and I got treated like if I was a thief ! So be careful they might mistake you for something worse and they'll say u can never be to sure!

This little place is too cute! It has the whole mom and pop shop vibe. The people are great who work here, and they seemed very knowledgeable of the item I was looking for. I appreciated the nice older gentlemen who helped me!! It's worth coming to before going to the larger hardware stores.

This store packs SO much into a smallish space. Very impressive. They had exactly the painting supplies I needed at great prices. Friendly staff was very helpful. Will definitely return.

C & D is your one stop shop for hardware, gifts , dog food and so much more . Great customer service , clean and such a helpful staff . I wont go to big box store when I can keep my money in the HEIGHTS . You may go in there mad or upset because something broke or needs to get done , but I promise you will leave C & D in a better mood . Thanks Duane and staff keep on rolling .

What an unkind group of employees. I live down the street and typically go here to support local versus Home Depot and Lowe’s. I called at 628 (they close at 630) saying I was blocks away and needed earplugs (baby not sleeping through the night) at 630 on the dot I show up as the bald gentleman with head tattoos is closing the gate rudely telling me that they can’t help me - "when the chains are up-we're closed!!!".If you have options and are thinking this a quaint, kind group of staff (small town charm in the big city type of place) you’re better off saving money with a more inviting atmosphere at your local Home Depot - there is one 6 minutes away from C&D.

cashier Dianne becomes ruder and ruder every day. Today she thought I was stealing a hydroflax. You know how you always put your stolen merch on the counter next to the things you are actually going to pay for? Jeez. I told her twice it was mine but she picked it up from the lid and turned it over. She put her filthy hands where I put my mouth. Btw they don't even sell Hydroflax there only Yeti. She continued to bitch and make excuses until a young lady, who is always very polite, having heard Diane from across the store, came over and told her to stop it and apologize. Diane is always unpleasant. Right before my turn today she was berating a man for returning an item with a crumpled receipt. She made a big production pretending she couldn't read it and it was his fault and she was doing him a favor. Ridiculous! This old hag needs to be retrained or fired. She's probably one of the reasons the store is usually empty these day.

Excellent store! I went there to get some caulking not knowing how much stuff they actually have there. They have everything you need to fix up stuff around the house! The entire staff was extremely friendly and they know where everything is in the store like the back of their hand. They’re very knowledgeable on everything there and very professional! I really appreciated how good they are at what they do.
