“Great variety and they're quick to service what you're looking for. They also have a mini grocery grab and go for sides, veggies, pasta, walls and walls of seasoning. Highly recommend stopping in here”
“They have to have the largest selection of Wagyu beef in Houston. There were several cuts and items, even wagyu jerky! The cheeses, beans, and other items look home made and delicious. Can't wait to try more”
“I've been searching for a good ribeye in Houston for a year. Finally found it! I can say this is actually better than Hudsons in Austin. And Pete's steak seasoning makes it perfect!”
“This is not as cozy as the Lake Charles location. I found the selection to be sub par but not a lost cause. The fresh side had a few options. Frozen side had too many options but slim pickings. There is no store brand seasoning for sale which was also a surprise. All in all I’d probably just return to the Lake Charles location for future purchases. This store is basically an outlet with no character or warm boudin balls to enjoy.”
“Nice little grocery store with a taqueria and carniceria inside. It definitely needs some love inside and there's holes on the roof and just seems a bit unkept. Breakfast tacos were ok. Nothing special but not bad. All staff was friendly. Got to come back and try other food.”
“Best Barbacoa in the East Side of Houston…family owned and operated for over 30 years at least from what I remember. You better get there early Saturday & Sunday morning because they run out fast!”
“I came for the chicharrónes since my usual spot hadn't made them for today. The people behind the meat counter were friendly and helpful as well as Steve, Carlos and Sara. I was imprimpressed with their friendliness and service. They also cook the chicharrones every day, which is a plus since I like them "fresh", not day old. As an anglo, I was happy that they would let me try and speak my broken Spanish as that is the only way you can learn. I give them 5 stars”

“My boyfriend and I found them on Google, they are closer to us than a lot of halal meat markets. We came in looking for good quality meat, and that's exactly what we purchased. We were lucky enough to meet the owner, who was very hospitable and helpful to us. They aren't fully open on Tuesdays, but that didn't stop them from giving us exactly what we needed at an excellent price. Better than Costco. We will definitely be coming back ?”
“been a regular here for many years, their tacos are honestly some of the best, always feels fresh and well made. the store itself really gives off the feeling as if you really are in a corner store from Mexico, absolutely would recommend to stop here for a quick bite and light grocery shopping.”

11655 Veterans Memorial Dr, Houston“What happened to the smiles and customer friendliness? A lot of facial seriousness.
Good variety of groceries and fresh meat,
On this occasion the barbecue did not turn out very well, it was dry, similar to dry mashed meat. Fajita was well prepared.”
“Eating in La Potosina is a true delight to the palate and the senses, its food is truly Mexican as it preserves the flavor and aroma of Mexico, apart from its cooks and waitresses who are more than attentive and always with a good attitude, I recommend this place. for lunch or dinner knowing that the most demanding palate will be more than satisfied”

6AM - 10PM
4717 Telephone Rd, Houston“The best butcher shop that I have ever known, the butcher, Chapin Luis, very attentive and with good experience, in customer service and not to mention the fajita makes him very thin, take care of those types of employees because that's how 1 out of 100 come out.?”
“This has been my go to meat market for years! Their fajita is the best in west Houston, yes it’s a bit pricy but worth every penny. I wish I knew their secret recipe for their marinade Lol.”
6:30AM - 9PM
10675 Huffmeister Rd, Houston“The most delicious food! One issue I had trouble with was getting someone to speak to on the phone. Based on their business profile, I called 3 times & the call went on for a duration of time. There was no answer & no voicemail during my attempts to have someone answer. The reason for my call was to inquire about a certain pastery. It would have been nice to speak to an employee. I hope in the near future this can be remedied.”
“This was my first time buying meat from this place and all I can say is so far so good. I haven't had the opportunity to taste the quality of it yet. Will update soon.”
