Ridiculous policy that electronics (such as a USB cable) can't be returned with a receipt and in unopened box. I was never told this when I made the purchase and was them told I should read the fine print when I tried to return the item. Do not buy from here.

I fly often and so I thought I knew my share of bad airports. My experience consisted of an overzealous TSA agent who did such an extensive search of my petite girlfriend who is Latina (but looks Asian according to most people) that we ended up missing our flight. Especially nice since flights are sparse during the time of this writing. There were literally no other people in the TSA line, which by the way was the backup line, since the airport had decided to close the A1-15 checkpoint entirely. Anyway, GI Jane thought she was going to save the world by really getting into my 95 lb girlfriend's jean shorts along with a splendid and romantic crotch patdown. After this romantic dinner, dessert consisted of the ole bomb residue test. On a more serious note, if Houston wants to modernize and stop being viewed as a backwater for oil and gas, they need to fix their international airport hub. Avoid IAH and just go to Hobby. It would also be nice if my tax dollars weren't going towards the molestation of my gf.

Corona times must really be getting to me if I'm resorting to rating airports. In all seriousness, I can't believe it's taken me this long to rate Houston's largest airport. Traveling is one of my biggest passions so I've gone through George Bush Intercontinental Airport countless times. Over the past couple of years, IAH has made some nice renovations to the airport. They've brought in a lot of new restaurants to replace your typical cookie-cutter fare at airports. Some of Houston's most well-known restaurants and chefs now have outposts at IAH including Hugo Ortega and The Breakfast Klub. Two thumbs up! I have TSA Pre-Check/Global Entry and I've never had any issues at this airport. Getting through security is a breeze. Some airports have something distinctive to set them apart. IAH doesn't really have that but it's a nice airport overall.

Easy to navigate. Good shopping for Texas souvenirs. Large food selection. Short ride downtown.

This is a fairly large airport in northern Houston. It's sort of confusing getting to the entrance, however it's easy to check in your bags and making it through security. They make the process quick and easy. The airport is generally clean, busy, and quiet, but I would suggest going to the Hobby airport if possible.

This airport was on the confusing side on how to get out and call an uber. Especially when ubers are only allowed to pick you up at certain spots. Since there was so many different levels, and not enough signs, I was scrambling around to ask random employees for help. Also upon waiting here for my flight, all the outlets to plug in your charger are only location in one spot where you would have to leave your phone there with no seats nearby, or the wall outlets which are extremely loose and it falls out the moment you move. For being the main airport for Houston, I would have expected better. Not to mention its one whole hour away from the city !

IAH is the closest airport to me and I've been flying for years. I mainly fly United so this is my go-to airport. Loving the improvements over the years. If I've ever had any issues with the airport it's because of specific airlines and their employees- not the airport itself. TSA has a way of gauging the crowd and knowing when to open up areas to make sure the lines go by quickly. The eateries in the airport are amazing (glad I can come and get Breakfast Klub). The only thing I haven't tried using was the sky train ? I've had a friend try it before and it was quite confusing to her so hopefully I don't have to try it anytime soon. Other than that- no issues with IAH

Great airport but it is huge! Love all the stores while you are walking through the airport but the reason I give this 4 stars is because trying to find my baggage was THE worst. There are so many baggage terminals it's insane. I found my bag at a baggage terminal that didn't even say my flight. So I walked around for 20 minutes looking for my bag only for it to be at a terminal that wasn't even my destination or where I came from. Also no one is there to help so you literally are walking around looking for your stuff. Overall it's a nice airport but they need to have a better system for baggage claim!

i fly though houston regularly when i'm going to or from latin america. it's an easy airport to navigate and the staff is generally very polite and friendly--gotta love the southern hospitality! my gripe is that despite some serious makeovers the airport has received in recent years, there's plenty of food for meat eaters but if you're a vegetarian or vegan and lean toward foodie tendencies, you're going to be walking between terminals to find something you're willing to pull your wallet out for. i've come in to the airport in the very early morning and ended up resorting to starbucks because i just don't want to sit down for a full meal. at lunch and dinner times or even later, there are some finer dining options but again, get your reading glasses out to practically scan the fine print in search of vegetarian and vegan options that aren't capresse paninis or subway. in general the airport is clean and manageable but i always want there to be better options for those of us who choose not to eat meat. i'm going to hold out hope that more get added in the near future.

I've used this airport since I was a child. What can you say. It's close to champions northwest so this is my airport of choice. This is my routine: I call Lyft or uber and get dropped off at my terminal. Typically pass the through security in 1-3 minutes as I have global entry so that helps a lot. I normally get there 30 mins before they close the gate. Any stupid a** human that tells you to get their two hours early are just stupid as hell lol. They must really like to waste their time. It's not necessary! Especially with global entry. Also another airport phenomenon I will never get is how people rush to line up. I think they must be nervous or don't fly that mouth. Maybe the overhead bins are that important. I am not sure but people line up and board so fast. Hell people even pay to board fast. Yeah no thanks! I'm always the last to board. Why do I want to bet stuck for an extra 40 mins in my seat sitting next to a stranger. No thanks. This review was more of a rant. Lol This airport is good. Great food choices and the TSA peoples are nice.

Solid airport. Had a layover here recently with a quick walk between terminals D to E- plenty of signs and easy to navigate. Encountered some nice food options as well with a balance of dine in and fast take out (hooray for Panda Express), clean bathrooms and plenty of outlets. Overall, a modern looking airport and a pleasant layover experience.

When I'm flying to Houston I definitely try to fly to Hobby but sometimes the availability is limited to accommodate with schedules and I'm left with no choice but to fly with IAH. It's always been a breeze getting through this airport and everything is pretty organized. I definitely know it's not as crazy at LAX but I may be biased because I haven't flown through IAH during busy times. I recommend this airport. There's a lot to do here and its generally pretty clean and plentiful witj food spots, stores, boutiques and more.

What I like about IAH or George Bush Intercontinental Airport is its modern interior, efficiency of handling passengers, and a friendly support staff. Not to mention a decent number of top notch eateries and knick knacks shops. They also cater to the modern/young travellers. You can see bars/cafes offering "wall huggers", those whose gadgets are ravished by a number of airlines cutting power outlets, places to charge/power their smartphones, laptops while ordering food and drinks. The interior is newish and appears to be continuously updating much like a mall. Essentially this is what has become to much of world's airports, what else can you offer travellers mandated "early" check-ins, and/or delayed, misconnections? I am not here to criticize the nature of airports/airlines' business practices but rather review the quality and service of this particular airport. What I find exceptional is the info workers walking up to travellers to offer help and directions. This is terrific and refreshing. For the first timers to Houston, this is a great interface and help to shape the perception that Houstonians are friendly and kind. (Of course, this is not necessarily true) but....,good job IAH. The only Issue would be the wayfinding signage, which are a bit unclear at times, but not a deal breaker. I would recommend this airport.
