The staff was very friendly and efficient. Dr. White was incredible. He took his time and thoroughly explained the situation regarding my son's bearded dragon. We honestly didn't think Walter would pull through but he is doing 100% better. We will definitely be back.

Dr. White and his staff went above and beyond to cure my cat, whereas other clinics in Houston did more harm than good. I'm forever grateful for saving my furbaby. His long tenure in medicine was evident by solving my cat's complex case. He is very kind, humble and considerate in cost, and hence dedicated to his profession for the right reasons...which unfortunately is hard to find nowadays. Thank you Dr. White and Josue! ?

I have been a customer of Briarcrest for along time and dr white is wonderful but, why do they give appointments for? I had an appointment at 9, got there at 8:55. Several people walked in after me and they were all seen, I sat there for 40 minutes, I asked if my pet is not going to be seen anytime soon then can I have him back and I just reschedule? and sure enough, I would have been there for hours if I didn’t say anything and that’s just wrong. Unfortunately, I don’t think there are other clinics that see exotic animals in my area.

Dr. White is incredible! I’d taken my pet to other veterinarians who could not help him with his skin issues. But Dr. White knew exactly what to do and my pet is so much better and happier. Thank you, Dr. White.

This was my first time here. I brought in my chameleon to get a checkup and fecal test. I arrived 15 minutes early and checked in and filled out paperwork. They called me back to the room at 10:30am which was my appointment time. They checked the wait at my chameleon at that time and then I waited in that room for a COMPLETE hour until the doc came in at 11:30am. For that reason alone I will NOT be going back. He then tries to stick this big flushing needle in that's absolutely too big before realizing it and switches it out. Other than that the doc was informative and tested the poop and gave the all clear. But like I said having to wait an hour after my appointment time is unacceptable and defeats the purpose of a set appointment time.

I called as a concerned pet parent. My dog was recently diagnosed with Addison’s disease and I was instructed to search for a veterinary clinic that is comfortable with Addison’s treatment. My dog almost died 3 times and had a seizure and I was told his case is pretty severe and I need to make sure he is in good hands and is with a team that is knowledgeable of the disease. As I called to get further information I simply asked how comfortable they are with treating the disease and the lady who answered the phone laughed and said the doctor has been a doctor for many years and has seen everything. As I elaborated, and asked for clarity and more details on whether he is currently treating the disease in other pets or if there is a treatment plan established the lady answering the phone said that if it’s a real big concern then I should just find a specialist because she doesn’t know what else to tell me. This is a veterinary office - every concern with a pet is a big concern - that’s the entire point of the existence of vets. I needed to be made feel comfortable with leaving my dogs health in their hands and instead was laughed at on the phone and dismissed.
I understand that maybe there wasn’t more information available but customer service is one of the pillars of a good business and being dismissed because you don’t have more information is not the appropriate response. As I tried to share feedback about her aggressive demeanor she again dismissed me and said that she still didn’t know what else to tell me. Disappointed that this clinic was recommended to me and in less than 3 minutes I was made feel like my pets concern isn’t a big deal to the office.

Took our Redear Slider turtle to get checked. He was recommended by another veterinarian closer to us, they said he was the best to go to for turtles. Dr. White and his staff were very nice. He checked her out and asked about our concerns. He was happy to answer all the questions we had. I would highly recommend Dr. White for reptile owners.

BRIARCREST VET CLINIC (Dr. White is the founder). He has been in this same spot for nearly 50 years. He was telling me he had put a deposit in the late 70s before the center was even built. Dr. White has genuinely tried to "help people" - help their most loved pets. The doctor and his staff sincerely care. In my opinion, with all the vets I've gone to, there isn't a more genuine, caring place to being your "family member" for all their care. Dogs, cats. Birds, reptiles. Dr. White and his staff have helped this community. They helped wholeheartedly as they could.
There is one vet I recommend.
