The absolutely worst customer service I've ever experienced. No, the Cricket Store (also on S. Post Oak) is worse. They locked the door 20 minutes before closing and REFUSED to open for a new customer and would not give the mangers name. But that'd another review. I immediately told the guy at Boost the horror I experienced at Cricket and that Boost just gained a new customer. You'd think that right there would signal the guy to at least be gracious. However, while helping an upset current Boost customer, he stopped talking to her and said "what do you want" I told him to finish with the customer there before me. He said "I'm done with her and about to call the police" he started dialing the phone. Then I hear the young lady say to him "sir, I bought this phone yesterday from you and today it just stopped working" he gave her the look if death and said she came in too late in the day for him to help her. At this point I was dismayed, but it was urgent that I get a phone today. When I told him I wanted to open a new service accounf, he looked me up and down, laughed to himself and repeated to me. "I don't have time to set up a new service and it's raining and I want to go home. I felt like I was in the twilight zone. I pointed at the open sign and that I walked in an unlocked door. He again refused to provide service. But like I said, I needed a phone and didn't have time to search for the next nearby wireless phone server and make it in the rain before it would be closed. He stopped "helping" me and again told the young lady that she probably was careless with the phone and broke it. I looked at the phone sitting on the counter and it looked brand new to me. He argued with her for a four more minutes then called someone and started talking in a foreign language. Ends up he called the store manager but neither I nor that customer knew what he was saying. He ends the call and bluntly tells her to leave and come back at a better time. He turned to me, huffed and asked if what provider I was switching from, my account number, IF I KNEW MY PHONE NUMBER, my account number (thinking he got me there) yes I have it. He asked 3 mire times if I really have the account number and while I said yes the 3rd time as I was pulling the piece of paper, that I wrote the number he retortted "you dont know the pin number" he seemed astonished that I actually knew a number that I set up, again asked me 3 more times if I knew the number. Looked at his watch and said he was sorry but it's too late, he wanted to go home. Long story short, I wasn't leaving and he finally gave in and helped me while still badgering the other customer. What took him 10 minutes to charge me (which he insisted I pay before he would start any process), get the phone off the wall 4 feet behind him, asked me my name (again 3 times), then seemed to give up and shoved a paper and pen at me and told me to write it myself. Was less time than he spent barking and complaining to me that it was raining, I came in too late and he wanted to go home. Absolutely disgusted, I smiled and put on the most happiest, totally grateful smile, told him to be safe getting home and asked his name as though I just wanted to kindly address him. He quickly said it, then again with a smile I said I'm so sorry I didn't hear you. He mumbled something, rolled his eyes and looked at the other customer with the same look of death he gave earlier. 5 hours later, I bet they are still there. Horrible horrible horrible. I will return to this location 1 more time next week to speak to the manager and will then follow up with someone at their corporate office. I have a feeling the manager is going to be just as rude. But, I will arrive without any assumptions.
