Went to the one in the Village in Houston. It was empty on a Sunday. Two people working. There was two of us that needed assistance in finding NEW products for makeup. Only one assistant would help us and she was in a rush and grab, smear on the face, put products stacked up. All available chairs were cluttered with paper and mirrors. Very unprofessional. She applied makeup horribly by using smearing technique but the final straw was application of powder. She smeared that on as well and four tones to light and quickly said this is the right one. It looked like white wash. We told her that was the worst service and decided to go to Neiman Marcus (great decision). The clerk frantically said but what about the products I put out on the register for you. We said Goodbye. I do not recommend this store.

I stopped by with the Hubby at around 2pm-ish. There were two women at the counter and they were both so friendly and helpful. I was attended by Zenia, she was so fun and informative. I walked away with a few samples and I love everything she recommended. She really knows the products and listened to my concerns. I will definitely be going back to purchase what she recommended.

Some of the most awful customer service people to ever exist. They are borderline hostile, barely lifting their heads from their phones and seeming so put out when a question is asked. On top of all that, the samples are so old and expired that they stink. If the samples are that gross, I can’t imagine how old the products are. It’s always shocking that almost every person I’ve encountered here is so rude and off-putting. I can only imagine it boils down to a management problem. I don’t think I’ve ever felt so uncomfortable repeatedly from people who are supposed to be in customer service. I hope corporate takes note of this review and the many others who have found themselves not wanting anything to do with their stores due to the behaviour of this staff. It is a shame that this “beauty” store is run with nothing but people who are so ugly on the inside. It’s really starting to show through.

The only reason I gave 2 stars was because this store had what I was looking for. The staff was barley civil and was not interested. This is not the first time I’ve had this problem at this store. I will not return!

Very cold and unhelpful staff. Good hair products layout though. Strong variety with upscale brands representation. Price isn’t competitive compared to the brands’ online offerings

Terrible customer service. Treat you awful and also.. almost every tester is beyond expired. Jo Malone testers expired in 2016. La Mer expired in 2015. Moroccan hair care was so old it was separated.

Customer service was HORRIBLE. There was a white lady with insane makeup who worked there and didn't say not one word literally didn't even see her then as soon as I start picking up stuff she comes and literally scares the living day out of me. It was like she wanted me to know she was watching me or something so I'm like okay strange sorry I'm just a brown person just trynna pick up some skincare like sorry if this was a whites only store all they had to do was put a whites only sign on the outside. Then I guess I was in her way and instead of saying excuse me so I could move she literally just squeezed behind me. Very strange interaction better off just buying stuff from the brand you want online. Because the customer service here is horrible.

Terrible service, today was my second time to this location, I live in Austin. I usually purchase in Austin. I love Bluemercury and I am a loyal customer since 2009. This location at Rice university gave me terrible service for the second time. The sales lady was not very nice to me and was very arrogantly. Finally I gave up and left the store. I went to another location at Voss street in Houston. They gave me the picture I uploaded, 2 things combined with 20%off. This store the lady made me feel very stupid. The other store makes things easy. I feel discriminated against.

I recently came to this store for the first time. Honestly, some of the worst customer service that I have seen. It was fine for the first, say, 2 seconds. I began browsing and one of the ladies working there immediately began pushing to 'assist' me in this experience. I politely refused but it seemed she could not care less. I felt a great deal of pressure and went along with it. After that, she asked about my skin type. And, as I answered, she interrupted me multiple times. By now, I already wanted to leave. Then she asked me what I wanted. But, oh dear, her tone. I felt as if she was talking down to me. It seemed as if, to her, that I was no more valuable than a lump of coal. She pointed out skin 'concerns' on my face that are caused by sheer sensitivity. I only wanted to address what I stated. Then she went and got 3 products that she didn't show me. And proceeded to put them in samples. That was kind, I would like to admit. But she never let me pay or see the products. I asked a couple of simple questions and, once again, her tone was rude. This was horrible. I don't plan on returning.

No one who works here knows the pricing without checking on their systems here. I would go else where also.. due to staff being unfriendly.

Just wanted to thank Tamika for helping me in store and being a genuinely kind person! You truly have a wonderful employee on your hands and lucky to have someone with such great customer service.

Ladies who work there are giving off vibes. Must be the write bourgeoisie clientele they are used to. Like all Blue mercury locations, they have a good collection of products. Bought some of the aqua di Parma med fragrances - nice line.
