This vet came highly recommended by my co-workers and did not disappoint. I am a new puppy owner, the staff were all great with him and he LOVED Dr. Patten. I had many questions as a new owner and everyone not only validated by concerns (some which I thought were dumb) but addressed them and guided me with him. We are so happy we decided to come here.

I have been using this veterinary service for over 20 years starting at the Southampton Veterinary Clinic. The staff at the new location continues the compassionate and loving care for my wonderful and dear furry friends and I am truly grateful!

We lost one of our fur babies and they helped me with her cremation. I decided to take her sister in the next day for a check up and the doctor came in and expressed her sympathy for our loss, since I had not seen her the day before. I will never go anywhere else.

I needed to get a health certificate and FAVN blood test for traveling to Hawaii and Dr. Dority was very thorough, attentive, and patient in helping me figure out the best timelines and important procedures for traveling with my cats. The hospital is familiar with getting FAVN tests with KSU, so they prepare and ship all the blood samples as well as the required documentations. I just needed to make the appointment ahead of time, show up with my cats, and bring their rabies certificate.

We have been with BVH for about 9 years now and, although we have had to see different staff members over the years, we have had consistently good service from the technicians and veterinarians. Dr. Jou and the rest of the staff have been great. The new location looks nice although i do miss the charm of the old house down the street.

Bissonnet Veterinary Hospital is a great place! They are very caring of my dog's needs, and I can drop him off for his appointments on busy days. He also receives medicated baths here which is extremely helpful!

Such a wonderful, compassionate vet office. When I had to say goodbye to my cat, they were so understanding and supportive, and even took his pawprints for me although I wasn't in any state to ask for them. They sent them to me in a card with heartfelt sympathy notes from the staff, and a particularly kind and comforting one from Dr. Desai, who saw him last. This kind of thoughtfulness is so rare in vet offices, and I'm so grateful to her for going above and beyond in giving care to my sweet boy and kindness to me as I had to let him go. They truly care about you and your pets here, and take excellent care of them. I'm so lucky to have found them, and I highly recommend this office.

Gosh. What a huge disappointment.Taking my pets here for excellent care for years and years.The founding vet retired and everything has gone downhill since.Even worse when they relocated.Super disorganized.Long waits with appointments ….30 minutes and 45 minutes past time on last two. Never happened before.Zero follow up after surgery. Vet calls but no further follow-up from staff for removal of stitches or even responding to post-surgery emails with questions.They ”forget” to give paid-for medications requiring a return trip. No apologies.Told dog is ready for release but have no knowledge upon my arrival, no release signed, no forms filled out. We waited 45 minutes minutes in the lobby. My poor baby still weak from anesthesia and surgery.That’s when I decided….new vet.Dr. Dority is lovely but she can’t make up for her staffs’ incompetence.
