Came in wanting to buy pillows I saw online, each pillow started at $200 and wouldn’t spent over $2,000 easily. Not one person asked if I needed help and then when someone finally asked they were rude and snooty and did the bare minimum. I’ll get overpriced pillows elsewhere

From one Sarah to another - thank you for saving me! My boss is working with a designer. We ordered from Ballard and UPS delivered to the wrong address. I had a terrible time explaining to UPS that yes the boxes were delivered but that wasn’t the house. I had to loop in the designer who took it to Sarah. Sarah arranged to have new wallpaper shipped to us in the meantime we drove around the neighborhood and found the boxes - same house number, one street over. We were able to stop the replacement shipment before it was sent. I really appreciate Ballard. Thank you for helping and stepping up.
Not to mention my boss is super excited about the quality of everything. You have customers for life.

By far the worst furniture company I've ever dealt with. Online customer service has been a nightmare every time I have had to call. Poor quality fabrics they "suggest having another company fix". Delivery and return policies for large furniture pieces are unfavorable. When I called about a piece that was under warranty the representative said "your warranty expires in a month, I don't see what you want me to do about this". I would never suggest this company to anyone.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!! Over one month on, I am STILL trying to get things straightened out!! My husband and I ordered 3 chairs on 3.5.24. Due to a problem with the table we ordered (somewhere else), we ended up cancelling the order on 4.2.24. Long story short, due to a mistake at their warehouse, I was only credited for ONE chair, which then meant that I incurred almost $100 in late fees and interest (without my knowledge) prior to this mistake being rectified two weeks later. In the interim, no one at the store level has done anything to get this corrected other than a weak apology and telling me to call the credit card company. The credit card company (while they are somewhat sympathetic to my situation) said there is nothing they can do because it’s still money owed to them. So basically my credit is shot and I owe $100 for chairs that I never even took possession of!! DO NOT SHOP HERE unless you want to be ripped off!!

I came in looking for a new bed frame and Sarah Walker, one of the designers, helped me find just the one my wife and I love. The store was able to get the bed delivered the same day, which was great appreciated. Overall, I had a great customer experience!

My daughter-in-law has some rugs in her kitchen and I thought about buying some for me because it would match my kitchen, even though she said Ballard sent her the wrong color but she decided to keep anyway. Well… I had the same issue, wrong color. Believe it or not, I returned the rug THREE (3) times. Went to store showed them the issue, the rug was different from my order, no problem, everyone was nice. Got new rug, wrong. Returned second time, got a wrong one. Returned third time, wrong rug. I am not sure what is going on with them, the store, the distributor, whatever. I will never buy again. One week has passed and I still don’t have the refund in my account. They said to wait two weeks and if I still don’t see the refund in my account I should go back to the store. This store is in the most prestigious area in Houston, River Oaks, this is not acceptable.

Awful experience from the beginning to the end. Unprofessional and unpleasant we ordered our bedroom in July and arrive in November with defects. Nobody really care about us we cancelled the order and due to this inconvenience we have been obliged to get our bedroom in another store which is great but of course we lost our time and our money we still are waiting them to refund us.It is unbelievable how bad is the customer services. I don’t recommended at all anyone to contact them.

If I had only purchased an item or two from Ballard that had an inherent design flaw I would write it off, but after about my 5 or 6th purchase of an item over 300$ that was seriously defunct, I had to finally stop. There has been an arc lamp that would not stay up no matter how we adjusted it - ended up thrown on the curb after the last time it fell on my husbands head during a nap. There are the two martini tables with marble tops that fall over if you breathe too hard and then of course crack - I have two of those that were NOT cheap. Then there is the 4 head lamp that has no way to secure the 4 bottom pieces so as soon as they are out of alignment, plop! on the floor it goes with bulbs crashing. Then there is the huge mirror I bought that had NO way to hang it - we have had to leave it propped on the floor. Then there was the chandelier that looked absolutely NOT like the catalog photos that I definitely returned. And lastly the gold rolling table I just loved and wanted so badly but turned out it also looked nothing like the photo and was a much cheaper version of it. The paint also comes off super easily versus the very bronze unpainted metal finish that appears in the catalog. That ended up outside as a plant stand but the cost was definitely that of a high end bar like side table. There was also a wagon wheel chandelier that maybe actually was what it was sold as but frankly just looks horrible. Its in the garage too. So really just realized I am the idiot that kept falling for the sleek well made look in the catalog and kept on buying. Finally learned my lesson after what, 6 or so bad purchases???

Unprofessional and rude. The manager at this location needs customer service training. It is just unacceptable to treat customers with such condescending attitude.
