The African American man called “Mr.T” was absolutely rude and refused to accept a return of my jumper cable that i bought 2 days ago on July 24 2024 saying we can’t resell the item and if we do it for him then we have to do it for everyone. All i needed it for was to jump my car since i was in bellaire and return it. This is absolutely the worst AutoZone experience i have ever had. All the other auto were have dont it so i dont see a problem. Don’t recommend this store or staff. Absolutely a joke and laughable staff at best.

I came into the store and this beautiful young man named, Hayden Ross attended me. He was a sweet young man. I've never seen customer service like his. Pls Give this man a raise. I didn't really know what i was having trouble with in my car but he knew so much about cars. A true expert in this industry. He taught me what was wrong and helped me.
At my age these young kids never have patience with me but he did. This man will grow up to be a successful wise man.

I came in to discuss multiple electrical issues I’m having with my car. After coming in, a teenager asks if I’m paying cash or card when I’m holding nothing in my hand and am clearly not paying. I tell him that I’m looking for some advice and to know what I’d need to fix the issue in my car (fuse problems, turn signal and stereo not working) and after explaining my situation, this kid just gives me a blank stare and says “oh well if you need tools come get what you need” behind the register, and leaves me back there to try and look for what I need when I had no idea what I needed or where it would possibly be. After walking around for 5 minutes in the back of the store with all their inventory with no one else bothering to ask me what I need help with, the kid comes back to ask if I found what I needed. I found out the name of the tool I needed on Google, a circuit tester, and asked them if they had it in stock. The kid replies: “oh, nah.” I asked him if they knew of anywhere else I could go to obtain one or test my fuses. He responds again: “to be honest, ion even know.” Why even work at an AutoZone if you have zero interest in helping customers with anything and offer zero input on anything I ask for help with? Abysmal customer service, choose another location for help with your car.

I'm bad w names, but a gentleman w a British accent took care of me. He gave me some valid tips on my car when I had questions. So far, it seems he was correct. He apparently was wiser than the mechanic I had been using!!!

The past three times I’ve been here I’ve had great customer service. The employees were helpful. Today the store manager Terrance helped me with my battery and educated me on what he thought the problem was. He replaced my battery since it was still under warranty. He was personable and a pleasure to talk too.

Came to charge a battery and the worker (kid) was absolutely useless. Had no sense of customer service at all and the manager isnt far behind. The kid checked the battery and said needs charge and walked off. When we took the battery inside the manager said they couldnt take them. No communication at all.
