“I love this place. Not only do they have the best acrylic in town, but they also have the widest selection. Employees are also super friendly and will help you look for whatever you need because they all seem to have a lot of knowledge. 5 Stars any day!!!”

2237 S Voss Rd, Houston“An amazing place with a tremendous selection. We spent a couple hours there and really, could have stayed much longer. The staff is informative and friendly. If you need art supplies, THIS is the place to go.”
“Was visiting Nan's comics and games a few doors down and decided to visit the model shop. Walking in, I was transported back to when I was an avid modeler. They have nearly anything you need from the Japanese robots to model trains! They have the most terrain and building supplies I've seen in person. They also sell completed models and were told by one of the owners they buy old kits people had stashed but never built. The power couple owners were easy to talk to and very knowledgeable! Ya' just gotta go if you ever built models!”

“Great prices. I bought some Chinese buttons, fake plants, and three Sewing Pattern sets from here. So very affordable and I will definitely be back again to buy more patterns ?”
“I love this place.I got into oil painting a few months back for the first time, & felt so out-of-place bugging one of the folks there (older gentleman) about where I should start off (supplies, canvas type, brush kits, cleaning solution, etc.) Though he preferred acrylic, he gave me a basic rundown of what to expect, look for, & so on.I work in retail so I'm not the "Excuse me, sir" type as I like to look for things myself, but I NEVER have a hesitancy to ask questions here. Prices are actually not too bad, & the occasional sales are cool. I don't really focus on the names of the folks who work here, but thanks to all of them for always being helpful for a noob like me. Thanks for helping breathe life into a new hobby, guys.”
“They sell virtually everything under one roof! From molds, various clay, tons of tools, equipments, stains, under glazes, glazes and what not! They also run courses. Must visit if you are a potter and visiting Houston.”
“Ladies who work at the Art Supply are always the most polite, pleasant, and helpful!!! I am delighted this store is close to me. Wide selection of everything you’d need for painting, and other forms of art for great price. Love supporting small businesses and people who care!!!”
“Had the size foam board I needed and some cool magic items for the Grandkids...?
Staff were extremely helpful, even taking items to my car.
Wish I'd had more time to look around and shop, but my wallet was glad I didn't. Definitely will be back...?”

Could use more staff on the floor to assist customers. Thank you”
“I have hired them to do our famous Midtown ArtJams. These are the free art classes that Midtown provides at our annual Art in the Park and Mistletoe Market. The Pop Shop team stays within budget, comes prepared and is always professional and courteous with our participants.”
“Clean store and staff was nice. I wasn't super happy with the selection-picked over on a Sunday afternoon. The yarn wall was cool. Lots of holiday discounts now on 12/10. Parking is a mess on the weekends.”
“A little pricey, but can vary. Mostly is the incredible variety of art and even crafting supplies. I love walking through and letting ideas form or seeing different products to help create a idea and decide what will work. To see and touch in person, it's something you can't do with online stores the same way. It helps the creative process.”
