Everytime I come here, it's always an issue. I got here 2 hrs before it closed, " oooo we have lots of people no time to take your car". Even though they kept saying it will be a long wait and I kept saying it's fine, the insisted on refusing myself and another lady's car. Prior to, they would refuse if I came an hour prior to closing. I drive 20 min to come here and frankly ever since they changed management, it hasn't been the same sad to say.

Have been coming here for years as a member. They have various services to select and pricing is competitive. Sometimes the wait is really long but I typically cone back and get my car later on those days.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. After being a loyal customer for years, the way I was treated was ridiculous after THEY did damage to my car. I have been coming here for years and have brought several types of cars here. I have ALWAYS been happy with the service. I should've known, though. I noticed recently the 1 star reviews had increased but I thought to myself-- hey, i've been coming here for years.. how bad could it be? Being gaslit, invalidated, and disrespected was not at the forefront of my mind, but that's exactly how I was treated.
I brought my car in for an interior detail on 7/14/24. I picked up my car after getting it detailed and after asking to get a call back, and even having them request for me to write my name and number down, they did not call me to let me know my car was ready. I assumed, okay.. maybe they're busy. Nope, It just all goes down from here.
I inspected my car and at first glance, everything looked great. I then noticed a huge scratch on my tint on the drivers side window that 100% was not there before. This tint has been applied for years and has held up. Being the owner of this car and as detail-oriented as I am, I think I out of everyone else would know every nick, dent, scratch on my car. I called the establishment to let them know of my concerns and the initial gentleman who I spoke to was respectful and told me he would let the owner know, and told me in the meantime to look for window tinting quotes so that possibly the owner could reimburse me. He then told me that the OWNER would get back to me on Tuesday or Wednesday of this week.
I finally got a call today, Tuesday 7/16 and spoke with the "GM" (NOT THE OWNER) of this location. I gave him the rundown of what happened and told him I suspected that these scratches almost look like the rags that were used may have had some rock or small shard embedded in the cloth. All he responded to me with was "well there is nothing that we have on the premises that could've caused that damage" and "we wash and use new rags every time so I know it wasn't us who did that". I was shocked at how he straight away did not even believe me. It's funny because for someone who didn't even work on my car, he was speaking as if he himself cleaned my car when I know he didn't. Even after washing certain things in the washing machine, there could still be miniscule debris embedded in cloth. That theory is not even unreasonable. After coming to this place for years and spending $200 for a detail, why would I lie about that? He just kept denying my theory and saying that his team didn't do it.
All that was even offered to me was a FREE DETAIL. I couldn't even believe it-- not even a refund? I asked him "let's be serious here, if your car got damaged, why on earth would you bring it to the same place it got damaged at? even if the service is free?" and there was a long silence and he goes "well, we didn't do the damage".
This is the worst service I have received in a long time and until they reach out to me with some sort of a better resolution, I will continue to make sure none of my friends/family will go to them.

Literally been waiting here for 2 hours watching other cars that were literally behind go by and finish. Their getting the same 70 dollar package I am and their finishing well before me I will never go back

I’ve been coming here for the better part of a decade for my car washes and I used to get a phenomenal wash. I don’t know what changed but it seems to be going downhill fast. Not only do I have issues but every time I’m there, there is at least one or two other people having to get a refund or complain about issues with the service - not a good sign.
The last 3 times I’ve been here I’ve had to get the manager.
First time they wiped down my car with dirty cloths. My seats are white leather and so it was super noticeable when there were dirty water stains.
Second time they said it was done and didn’t even bother wiping down the interior of the car.
Third time they used the power washed and missed the rim of the car and power washed the interior of my vehicle; now I have wet carpet throughout my vehicle.
I’d give them 1 star if it wasn’t for the legacy of what used to be one of the best washes in Houston, but after three strikes in a row, I’m definitely taking my business elsewhere.
I hope you guys can pull it around.

Paid for the super clean+wheel detailing, $95 before tip. 2004 corvette Z06 with custom painted wheels done within the last year. They accidently peeled off the V on the corvette logo across the back, which they were able to fix thankfully, but on further inspection after I realized that they had damaged the paint on the wheels. There are spots on all 4 wheels around the spokes and rim where they had taken the paint off in places. These aren’t in any area that could be confused with curb rash, because there is no curb rash and the area where the paint came off is where they were scrubbing/power washing. On top of that there are plenty of spots on the wheels that aren’t even fully clean. Super disappointed especially with how recently the wheels were painted and I take pride in keeping them perfect, but now there are chips of paint missing on each wheel. The paint job was many coats with a clear coat finish so it’s also definitely not a question of the quality of the paint job. I don’t even know what Aqua can do to make this right. Super disappointed with how much I paid to be left with my vehicle worse than when I brought it in. Tried to call to talk to someone about it and can’t get anyone on the phone.
Update: finally after weeks I get someone on the phone who remembered my vehicle, he said they changed management so they probably can’t do anything, which I don’t see how changing managers has anything to do with their business doing hundreds of dollars in damage to my wheels. That paint was custom blended, with multiple coats and a top clear coat. It was an expensive, proper paint job. He said the manager would reach out that following Monday, that was two or three weeks ago. Really upset with the outcome of this. They messed my corvette up, and they are trying to just ignore the issue and wait for it to go away. Notice how there hasn’t been a reply to my review either. I would never go here again unless you want your car messed up. Absolutely infuriating. Considering contacting my lawyer about legal recourse to fix the damage they caused. Absolutely horrible, and I’m afraid to get my car washed by anyone now except myself. Still waiting on that call back with a resolution Aqua… I’d give 0 stars if it was possible

I am extremely disappointed with the service received at Aqua Hand Car Wash and Detail. I purchased the basic car wash with vacuum and wipe down as well as having my two front seats shampoo'd. The seats were treated very heavily with a very strong scented cleaner(I watched them spray from a spray bottle repeatedly) and not dried at all so I am concerned about the possibility of mold. The odor of the cleaner is overwhelming even after they have been aired out. In previous experience, typically these places use some type of drying mechanism to prevent you leaving with soaked seats. That is not part of their process at Aqua Hand Car Wash and Detail. The smell is horrible! Additionally, the wipe down was so bad it was as if I had not even gone to have my car cleaned. I have shared just a couple of the pictures of my car after their wipe down and vacuum. I understand missing spots, but this was clearly not wiped down or vacuumed at all.

My first time I got the basic package and it was THE BEST car wash I ever paid for. No wonder they’re always busy. You definitely get your moneys worth. The service, the quality and hospitality was beyond. They have an inside waiting room with AC or outdoor seating. Will definitely be a returning customer and recommending to everyone I know.

Did not provide the full services listed that I paid for. There’s dust all over my dashboard and dirty shoe prints on the floorboard. There are still dirt marks on the car. Will not return.

The location on Yale street is a lot better. My car was dirty but nothing crazy and the guy was making excuses as to why he won’t be able to clean it well and tried getting me to purchase the expensive package. The Yale street location never did that and always cleaned the car well
