She violated TSBPA 501.75 sub section D (did not secure clients' information), was late in filing our taxes, and is extremely disrespectful. Not once did I get an apology from this woman.#1. We submitted our 2022 paperwork a month before the tax deadline, and she was still late in filing it. She failed to be courteous and apologize.#2. I submitted 2021 1099 form for an amendment last year in October, she said that she would file for an amendment via email a few days after I sent that email. Then on April 26th, 2023, when I asked her about the amendment, she had the nerve to tell me that I never submitted anything, and when I corrected her stating that I did last year and that she even responded to my email acknowledging it, she still failed to be courteous and apologize.#3. She asked me to re-send my #2 (above) information, so I did. As soon as I sent it I asked if she received it, she said she did not. I verified the email and she said she no longer uses the email I sent it to as there was a cyber security breach. Ann stated that the email was permanently deleted so it wouldn't receive anything. I disagreed because I didn't get a bounce back stating that my email I sent was not delivered. She said she didn't know what to tell me, because she called "Infinity" and had them delete it. I asked her if she was able to try logging into the account to verify this, and she said she already told Infinity to delete it and she couldn't access the account if she tried. I asked her "what if they didn't delete it, because I never received a bounce back", Ann then said she "did her part" in contacting Infinity, and when I asked her if Infinity sent her something validating the dicontinuation of that email, she said she never got anything. She then proceeded to repeat that she did her part but was not willing to ENSURE that who ever she contacted did their part. **SO no, she did not do her part.Complaint #3 raised some serious concern, so the following day I went to her office to get further clarification. Ann had the audacity to tell me that my concerns are my "insecurity" and there is nothing she can do about it. She proceeded to say that she wouldn't put her clients' information in danger, and then stated that it's not her job to have a "40 minute conversation educating [me] on how accounting works and what [she does] to protect clients' information". I had been nothing but kind and courteous to her, but I've had ENOUGH!She was unbelievably rude, and I was absolutely not convinced. I did some digging on my own to find that her email was in fact still active -- I was able to find out the representative I spoke with was able to gain access and delete the email, however, he needed Ann's permission to do so. I disconnected call with the representative and called Ann, offered to connect her to a three-way call so we can end this and maintain the integrity of her services. Ann's response was "Listen, I will handle this myself, I'll reach out to my contacts to get the cancellation underway. I do not need you to tell me how to run my business, and I appreciate you for letting me know."I disconnected the call and reached back out to the representative and asked him to call her since she wouldn't comply with me. After he spoke with her he reached out to me and notified me that all was taken care of, via phone and in writing. This woman put people's sensitive information at risk.DEPICABLE SERVICE, and not once did I get a compassionate or apologetic response from her. I'd run from this woman if I were you, because she doesn't know what she's doing half the time and wouldn't be willing to listen to you or provide comfort if you have a genuine concern.

This is my second year in a row using Ann's tax service, and I will be back again next year! Both years she has been very straight forward with me about how much she thinks I will get back on my refund check, and she always works hard to get more. I won't lie, the building is not the best so the first time I went, I was a little scared and skeptical. But, once I met with them and everything was fine, I was at ease. This year i did have a bit of a wait time, even with an appointment, which set my day back a little. The office secretary is very sweet and helpful! See ya next tax season, Ann!
