Entered the establishment with my mother, spoke to the staff upon entry and no one acknowledged us. Wanted to purchase 3 paintings and the staff member behind the counter spoke to everyone in the store but us. Not sure if he didn't know we understood Spanish but we heard and understood everything that was spoken.Disheartening to not receive service in 2024. Won't be back and will also alert others of the darker skin tone whom speak Spanish not to spend their money there.

The staff at Anawim are the greatest! We accidentally locked our keys in our truck, and they bent over backward to help us find a solution. Also, their prices are amazing! Best thrift store in Houston!

Lovely thrift shop and volunteers. I donate a few large bags, and I don't feel guilty bringing home a little something if I find it! It all goes to a great cause, as well. Some of the reviews on here are written with the expectations that this is a typical retail store. Please keep in mind that this place is all run by volunteers!

What a lovely find! Small and kind of hidden away, but great pricing and interesting items for sale. Found some lovely pottery, jewelry, and decor. Didn't get a chance to go through the small clothing section, but will definitely be back for another look. A gem of a place, and a welcome antidote to larger thrift stores.
