Whatever you do - avoid Amegy Bank at ALL COSTS. I have been a customer of theirs for 25 years (before they were even named Amegy) - as both business and personal accounts. What was once a great local business bank has become the most unreliable, unprofessional and untrustworthy company I have dealt with in 25 years of business.

Slowest and understaffed bank in town...rolls walk out every Friday when I'm there in line. Usually only 1 teller cashing checks and 4 other bank employees on cell phones...HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT

Extremely unprofessional personnel, this bank owns half of the entire first floor of this building. Upon entering I attempted to utilize the communal door to the other spaces in the building only to be told I was not allowed. After explaining I was there to do business and I needed to access another office, I was still told rudely that I was not allowed and I need to exit the entire building and walk around outside to access the other businesses. At the time I was carrying two large boxes and tried to once again explain myself and was denied again. I am curious as to whether or not the building owner is aware that this bank is refusing access to communal building doors in their building

I would like to give a shout out to John, who is teller in the drive through. He is ALWAYS so pleasant, professional, and efficient. He is a tremendous asset to this branch. I have already called and spoken to his manager about how wonderful John is, but I thought a good review would also help. Way to go, John!!!

You can still get good customer service here. Recently my mom passed, and I needed to change information on her accounts. Melisa made the process easy. She even helped with some of mom's investments that the bank normally does not deal with. Thanks Melisa!

Too much on fee to cash checks, they charged me 8.00 bucks to cash a chk from a company who using them. Wow. Now see why ppl are direct depositing..

Don't try to go for Business Account they will never follow with a Business account.
