I've come to this particular building various times and it's always a 50/50 chance of getting treated very oddly. I was taking care of the last time I had any issues with the ATM, which took thousands of dollars during a deposit but I just came to transfer some money and deposit some checks, and the tellers immediately stared at me from a distance while I was walking in intently until I came over, and then I had the other teller come over and stare at the entire transaction the entire time. Not only was my teller very awkward and wasn't very polite, I just felt like an outsider unnecessarily and for this being the main Amegy bank building, I expect way more customer service than that. I have been banking with Amegy for over 10 years so obviously I expect so much more. Also not to mention the application has not worked which is why I also told them I needed to get all this done, I felt like I had to explain myself because they seem like they didn't want to do their job.

Worst service. The person was rude and not helpful. All I got was we can't help you and you need to come in. Never bank here.

I've worked with Marisa Thomas on several home loans and she's the best. She was referred to me as a new construction specialist but she's been extremely helpful on some investment properties as well. I highly recommend her!

To the lady who answer the phone to me on Jul 25th 2019 at 415pm. You made a difference in my day. You provide the information I needed to perform my transaction, you called me back to make sure I had the documentation and cash that I needed, else I could not have made it on time. So thank you, excellent service. Hope your manager reads this.

Hi, I have been banking with this bank for long time since they opened many locations in Houston, TX. I only had onetime trouble with employee and Managers responses were the best ever I have experienced comparing to other banks I had account with; once I had some overdraft fees and it was all my fault, their Manager refunded 90% of them, it's where Personal and Business banking done right, checks turn to funds overnight when You have account with them. There are no surprise charges at all.

This bank tries very hard to offer customer service in the lobby, or not....however, from experience they use to cash your check with no fee. Now that they signed there new lease and plan to move fronting 610 W. Loop they are charging fees to cash a check. Sounds like executive management got squeezed on the lease....amateurs.
