I started shopping at this store since the other store at Beechnut and Bissonnet has gone down hill bad. Well, about a year later, and this store is also stating to show signs of decline like the other stores. Very disorganized, dirty, always out of basic items, and good luck finding a carton of eggs without at least one broken egg.
Sadly, looks like HEB is then only option in our area who actually runs a viable, customer centric grocery store. I really like Aldi, but the decline is hard to overcome.
Edit: 12/6, stopped by as I was in the area and it was convenient. Shelves were out of stock everywhere. I didn’t realize until I got home, but 5 of the items I purchased were beyond their expiration date, 2 of them by weeks. Won’t be making this mistake of visiting this location again, convenient or not.

I want to reply to those who are upset about paying a quarter for a cart. First of all, you get your quarter back. Second, this is one way Aldi keeps prices low.. they don't have to employ enough people to go out and gather carts in the parking lot. Plus your car is safer in the parking lot because there's no errant carts rolling around and hitting your car. Get over it. Aldi Shopping is fun, and this is a great Aldi. You save tons of money.

I’m an Aldi lover but don’t go near this store! I won’t talk about the mess and the deal. But it bothered us a lot that they limited the egg, we wanted to carry 4 cartons and the cashier told us no, it was only two per person and we told her why if it’s two per person we are two. Besides, seriously in this country??? Limit the food?? It’s horrible!!! The egg is not enough for me because because of my condition of not retaining proteins I have to eat it in large quantities. Difficult to find items, unorganized and messy, unfriendly staff. I came in for doordash and only one staff member didn't act annoyed when I asked them for help. I wouldn't come here for my own shopping. Stick to HEB where they are kind and clean.

Even though the prices are extremely good, the cashiers are always in a bad mood and give horrible customer service. Would it hurt to be nice and polite to the customers who use their hard earned money to shop there? A smile out of courtesy would be nice.
