AAA has reduced th office hours for the Katy Texas area location. I have participated iN AAA as a member for 14 years. Currently, the office is open from 9 AM to 5 PM on weekdays. Unfortunately, the office is not open during the weekend. The hours are incongruent with my work schedule. AAA demoted the insurance representative to part tim status at this location. Why bother renewing your membership with this company?

Michael Neal was easily one of the most delightful and helpful people I’ve come across in my life. He took great care of my mini cooper and made sure I got home safe and sound, not to mention the great conversation on the way there! Very grateful to have stumbled upon such an awesome guy!

I am a 12 year premier member and today would have been my first time using notary services.The lady upfront turned me away because I did not have a "notary certificate", just a printed letter.I went to UPS across the street with what I had and they were able to notarize . They had the 2 stamps that a "notary certificate" would have which they then just filled in.I would suggest having something like this in place so you do not turn away customers.

Update: after nearly 20 years as a AAA customer I have decided to cancel all my policies with this company. Every. Single. Interaction. with AAA Texas is frustrating and a waste of time. I strongly suggest anyone looking for insurance use ANY OTHER company except AAA.Original post:I have been a customer of AAA for 17 years. Every year dealing with AAA has become more frustrating and arduous. Their website is regularly down, if you can speak to a person they are not empowered or capable of helping customers. This company is filled with internal barriers between regional offices, corporate, and the underwriters that creates an organization that is as frustrating as dealing with as the DMV. If you are looking to start a new policy I would avoid AAA.

I went in and spoke with someone and was given a quote for the auto ins renewal. I called back numerous times to talk with them about that quote and the idiots kept transferring me to the 800 number after I repeatedly asked them not to do that. They (the Katy Insurance dept.) are USELESS!

Horrible experience. My car battery died in the Kohls parking lot at 2pm and AAA said they would be there in 30 minutes to help jump the battery. Waited until 3pm and no one came so called again. They again said someone would come in 30 min...no one came. This went on three more times! Finally, at 4:30 pm I gave up and luckily a young man was testing his new car and was kind enough to stop and give us a jump. I will NEVER sign up for AAA again. They are horrible!

Going on my second year membership, first time i need their service, roadside assistance, happening right now as I am writing this review,10:40am, 1st call the wait was 1 hour, 2nd call 11:30 ,wait was 12:19Long story short it's 3 pm ,I'm still waiting and I have a 9 year old child with me and it's houston heat, nothing yet, so frustrated

We had a horrible experience. We called AAA at 12:20 and was told someone would arrive at 1:10. We waited until 1:15 to call because we knew the driver usually calls when on their way and we still hadn’t heard anything. The customer service representative was incredibly rude and informed us that the driver was still on another call. We asked for an updated ETA. She was very put off by this but finally obliged to call and ask. When she came back, she refused to give us an estimate. After further demands, she reluctantly called again and told us 30 minutes. At this point, it was 1:30 in the morning. We asked if it was really going to be 30 minutes because we had already waited longer than initially stated. She was incredibly rude when we expressed our frustration that we never even received an update saying it was going to be an hour and a half PASSED what was initially given to us. She said we needed to have a good attitude or the driver would drop us and we’d have to wait another 60 minutes. Our driver ended up calling us at 2 am, stating he was on the way. We were initially told 40 minutes and it ended up being almost 2 hours. By 2 am, we had ordered an Uber to come to pick us up bc we had lost faith in AAA. I understand running behind but we were sitting in a parking garage at 2 am and a phone call would have been nice. The fact the customer service lady was so hateful instead if apologetic was shocking. We will be ending our membership.

Worst service I've ever had. Been a member for 30 plus years in California. Never had an issue getting service. Moved to Texas and was told needed to switch over to AAA Texas and added our RV to the account. When my tow vehicle broke down waited nearly an hour when the tow truck was less than 10-minutes from my location. The AI operator is worthless. We I finally spoke with someone she was very rude to me. Needless to say I won't be renewing. AAA Texas is the worst ever.

Very rude staff that doesn’t not want to work. They explain their way into not helping you to carry on their group conversation. The branch manger needs to be replaced immediately!!!! I’m putting in a complaint.

Thank you Lucy Raney for the outstanding and excellent A Class service. You were so fast, knowledgeable, courteous and friendly. It is rare to find so many people in an office / business setting that truly enjoy their jobs and it shows in the way the greet their customers and treat their customers. Thank you so much for helping us out with our International Drivers license's and recommending that we combine our AAA memberships to save money. You are the best Lucy!
