Rec Nation is awful! Ever since this company has taken over we have experienced nothing but issues left and right. Currently , the gate is down and a pad lock has put on for “security “ reasons, a code was sent out and this code is not working! Tried to contact someone and can’t get a response. (I do pay for 24 hr access, which was granted) called the call center multiple times and got different responses from all of them. Basically I was told they cannot get a hold of anyone to resolve this issue , several calls like ours have come in and nothing can be done. We are now locked out a facility that we pay faithfully for with a trailer blocking the main road and don’t have options. Let this be a warning about this company!

A and b storage was awesome. Once rec nation took over they truly recked things. The women who work at the corporate office were very hostile and unprofessional. I almost took a ride out there to dallas to meet that lady face to face to see why was she being so ugly with me. I never got a notice of any changes once they took over and was charged all kids of charges.

If I could give fewer stars I would. We were renting a grass space when it was still owned by A&B Storage. A&B was great! RecNation took over and I never received notification. They charged me $423 to catch up the one month I was behind and pay the current month. My spot was $79 a month. They charged two late fees for April ($20 each), a $75 overlock fee (for an empty grass parking space), and $150 Notice of Claim fee. They couldn't even explain what the notice of claim was, as I had not heard of that happening outside of construction jobs. She just said, "that's what happens."

The representative Karen K. is an outstanding employee and deserves a raise! I waited all afternoon and never got my gate code. I got tired of the run around and tried the temporary Code and it let me in the gate but not out. After waiting over a half an hour on an emergency call I received a call from Karen who was at home and off duty, and happened to check the email and saw my plea for help! She got me out and gave me my gate code. I never received another call till the next day. (Emergency?) Thanks for caring Karen K.

I worked with Kristi to make my reservation. There were some issues with the website, but she was great and super responsive and helped me through the entire process. The spot I have in Houston is perfect and I plan to continue to store my boat here for the foreseeable future.

These storage spaces rarely have a dedicated person on site (other than a maintenance person.)All that you can do is call the number on the sign. You won't get anyone to answer your call. You just leave a message & wait for a call back, which hardly happens.Good luck trying to contact someone at this location.
