Equipment missing a lot lock to adust the weights and on Saturday the associate here does not restock weights or organize them and facility is dirty and there is also a guy in men’s rest with a mat and pillow sleeping in restroom and also the pull down weights is missing screws and the seat is loose so why does mgt does not walk floor and look for these issue all I see mgt doing is just sitting behind desk that’s why this facility has poor results do something to improve these promblems

I’m visiting from out of town. While on my way to a different gym I spotted this 24 Hour Fitness location so I randomly decided to pop inside to inquire about a day pass. Before I made a decision I wanted to do a quick tour of the facility to see if that’s where I wanted to work out, but was told no because I was from out of town. I wanted to see what type of equipment was available, how the strength training space was set up, and really get the overall “vibes” but the gentlemen working the front desk at 9:30am on Nov. 1 was being difficult and I left.
Literally when I walked outside to leave I remembered how when I was a 24 Hour Fitness member back in 2017 it was extremely difficult to break the contract when I moved to the east coast.
So I guess my experience was on par for the brand ??♀️

The establishment itself is nice, it's the workers that run the place to the ground. It's almost always filthy, the trashes are always full and never taken out. You can never find paper towels to wipe down the equipment bec the workers are always lazy and sit at the front desk on their phones. The steam room is absolutely disgusting. Dirt and water bottles all over the inside of the steam room. It's insane how you pay close to $40 a month and they don't even keep the place tidy. Lazy workers should get up and actually do something to keep the place clean and hygienic.

This place is disgusting and the recent reviews also mention it - so it seems to be a consistent problem. Things growing on the water fountain, trash, grime, dirt, dust built up on, in and around machines.
You either need new cleaners, they need more hours, or your current staff need to start also cleaning at times. I see members wipe the machines a bit, but they amount of dust and grime built up around the club is gross. This is supposed to be a higher tier of the 24 hour brand. Mold and grime built up all over the place is very dangerous and I am seriously thinking of contacting the health department. This stuff could get people sick, including the staff and members.

What type of house rule is that a GUEST PASS IS ONLY AVAILABLE AT 10 am. Never heard of that, Mr James told me that I had to wait for a manager for me to get registered I’ve never heard of that. I’m positive that he didn’t want to do his job

Scam/unsafe parking lot just look for the piles of glass around my friend had his car broken into 2 times in one month with nothing in the car. they make all their money threw the fine print they will talk to you as if it is a monthly membership but after a certain amount of time it switches to yearly and increase 5x then when you cancel you will have to pay for the remainder of the year.

To the management team, why do I have to wait until 10am to use my 3 day guest pass?
There is no early warning of this “policy” in the email I received.
If this is the actual policy for the heights location, you’re doing your customers a disservice.
If it’s not, you need to train your staff better.

Will give a 3 because the gym is always dirty. The mens’s locker room is usually filthy. Staff doesn’t always do a great job of keeping the gym clean nor of ensuring paper towel dispensers and sanitizing spray bottles are filled. Some days, coolers are empty/locked, cash register is down, or there’s just no one to check you out if you’re trying to purchase something.
There are always machines that are down. They just got brand new treadmills recently so that’s good, but before that they had 5-6 treadmills down for months.
No one re racks weights here which is annoying. But I come here bc it’s close and have been coming for 5-6 years now but the same issues then are the same issues now.
The Staff are a bunch of kids and the GM is a young man so not sure how seriously they all take their jobs but the location has massive potential.
Also, there is just an absolute smoke show that works out here. Today Friday Sept 27 9am, she’s in a brown top and brown shorts; white sneakers and white socks, with a navy blue Yankees hat on. If you’re reading this, you are absolutely beautiful.

On my last visit, I was informed I could no longer work out at this gym because it has decided to call itself a “super sport” gym and my membership is only good for “sport” gyms. Nothing about the facility has changed or improved, and it’s the only gym in Houston I’ve ever used (except for one that closed years ago). I’ve been a 24 Hour Fitness member for fifteen years, and suddenly there is no gym convenient to my house where I can work out. The real reason they are doing this is that I have a lifetime membership deal where I paid a lot up front in exchange for a set annual rate for life. A few years ago they tried to weasel out of that deal and ended up losing a class action lawsuit. This is just another attempt to force out some of their oldest members.
Edit: I already reached out to you at the contact_us address several weeks ago when this happened. You never responded, which is why I left this review.

James was very helpful and friendly. He helped me find the correct weight and machines which I appreciate. The gym was super clean and well kept. Great environment and great gym
