Was really looking forward to moving here until leasing agent Sheliyah quoted me & took me on a tour for a unit that wasn't even available. Completely wasting my time & didn't even care when I found out & explained it to her after no response for a week. Maybe it was a sign as to what I would have been getting myself into.

One of the best apartments I've lived in. I have moved a lot for the military and 2111 Austin lives up to being a luxury apartment.Lots of parking spaces, there's a dog park they own across the street, a nice gym, and cool lounges.the staff here are amazing, and they work hard. Maintenance team is always 100% on the go. They will fix any issues within less than 24 hours. The cleaning ladies are so nice and work hard to keep the entire place squeaky clean. My dog also love them. The front office is very quick with solving issues. Shout out to Will and Kimberly. If there is one complaint, it would be the piling of trash on the weekend when people don't use the trash chute and just leave their garbage in the trash room. But they staff would clean it all up by Monday. If you like being close to the action of midtown but without the noisy people, I recommend this apartment.

The leasing office does not respond to questions/concerns that come from residents. For example, I have had packages of medicine stolen because USPS did not deliver correctly. I asked the leasing office how they plan to fix this issue in the future (such as take the loose packages and keep them safe in the leasing office). However, they choose to ignore the problems and concerns that quite frankly are big issues. Will not be renewing my lease again.

My son lived there for 1 year while he worked for the Houston Rockets. The apartments are in close proximity to the Toyota center where he worked. I visited often. The staff was always very accommodating and helped us on both move in day and move out. The building manager, Chelsea, was always responsive and a great help. The apartments and facilities were always clean and well kept. 2111 Austin has great amenities, a great gym, large residents lounge with fresh individually brewed Starbucks coffee, pool, and a rooftop lounge. The only knock is the area isn't awesome, but it always felt safe and heck, it's downtown/midtown so to be expected.

Overall good place to live. Stayed here for 2.5 years. Maintenance is extremely quick and helpful. My apartment was very nice. The grounds are up kept well by the cleaning ladies on a regular basis.

Today, my residence gets one star. If you have a emergency that requires an urgent response, you will not get assistance. My mobile key to let me in my residence connection went down leaving me locked out. I contacted after hours operator to dispatch someone to let me in to no response. It is not a good feeling to be locked out your apartment, sitting in a freakin hallway for over 4hours because everyone is sleep and obviously have their phone on silent. Thank god there wasn't a flood or sewage backup because no one would be available to help. So, for those who reside at 2111 or seeking to lease, just keep in mind if anything happens after the leasing office close, you're screwed.

Don't be fooled by how nice this place looks. On the 6th floor, you get a low-frequency vibration noise from the AC units on the roof. On every other floor, you hear everything your neighbors do through the paper-thin walls and floors. We have children above us that run and scream all the time. Management has stopped responding to our noise complaints saying my complaints are "retaliatory". I'd ignore the old reviews that were good about this place because the original apartment manager changed job function in July/August.Edit:-Management hasn't responded to our emails in 5 days, but they did respond to this google review in 3 hours!-I've added a video example of the noise. This is only from my iphone, so it's not the best quality, but gives you a good idea!

Thankful to live at 2111. Staff is great, amenities are always clean and tidy….and ground staff keep this place beautiful. Easy access to all highways! I appreciate the gated parking too, this is basically downtown and I like that I can park my car in a gated area.Dog park is huge, nearly 100 yards long. I am thankful to live here!

Since last year, and I have had 2 packages stolen due to the required courier service that the complex charges you for monthly (I no longer use this service). There is also an after hours maintenance fee of $50, for things such as being locked out of your apartment. On top, of the fee, no one responds to the after hours line leaving you locked out for hours at a time (I got locked out around 630pm, not like to 2 am)... Very unsafe practices. There was an app to gain access to the property if you forget your key fob, but it is often “glitching.” Honestly, I have had better living experiences, more accommodating and more than conveniences for cheaper.

Poor maintenance and poor security, my daughter reported a lockout 3/3/22 at 6:26pm and not until 8:30pm was there someone to unlock the door. As if the response time was agreeable, a fee of $50, was requested for the 2 hour inconvenience. 2111 Austin rental charges are high enough to NOT expect incremental maintenance payments for an occasional lockout. We expect exceptional and excellent customer service from 2111 Austin as they are premiered as high end living. Disappointed and hope the management desires to correct our experience.

SCAM BEWARE! I usually don’t review places at all. But I toured this place and really liked it. I told the leasing agent my move out date was June 18th for the place I am leasing now. And she assured me that my move in date was okay. I applied, got approved and then I was told the latest they could hold the apartment was June 4th. If I was told that in the beginning I wouldn’t have applied. I was told incorrect information and now they will not refund my money back. Just be aware of the front office, either they don’t know what they are doing or they are completely dishonest.

I have never been more impressed with the management and residents. I have nothing but pleasant experiences and my courteous and professional neighbors have been a blast. I recommend this complex to anyone who want to live the midtown lifestyle

Poor management and too many additional fees for useless services.

Chris, I apologize that this review is disappointing but this was MY personal experience living here which I'm allowed to share. Im sure other people love it and had a pleasant experience. I will say I am equally disappointed that you found the time to respond to a yelp review before responding to my multiple emails regarding mail, deposits, and rent charge errors. I hope to one day hear back from you regarding these unresolved issues. Have a great day.

I've been here now since October and I absolutely love it. The complex is well kept and quiet. I know a lot of people may have reservations about the overflow of homeless people in this area in general but security is phenomenal here. The management team are hands down the absolute best I've ever dealt with. They are on top of everything & are super accommodating & friendly. They're very familiar with the residents as well. Living in a smaller community in such a large city is the best decision I could've ever made.
