1 star review for the new parking regulations that have been adopted. Residents are being forced to register cars with a third party company, named Virtual Parking Permits and download an app. Apparently, you must now issue through the website or app, a 24 hour parking permit to all guest that visit the property, failure to do so will result in towing. Residents must issue themselves a one year permit on the vehicle they have on property. Although this is new, I already see this being an issue, especially with guest.I don’t see how this will improve parking conditions if all cars already have a reserved parking spot, and my guests always find visitor parking. I will remove or update this review if the parking quality increases. In the meantime, thanks for welcoming a new company that will eagerly tow our cars.

I had the pleasure of meeting the best leasing agent, I say best bc I drive p/t for Lyft and even off the clock Kerry provided me with a list of amenities and description of the property that made me want to move there , so I will be touring soon!!

I wanted to take a moment to express my utmost satisfaction and gratitude for the exceptional experience I have had as a resident here at 1900 Yorktown. Having rented apartments for the past 15 years, I can confidently say that this has been the best experience I have ever had.First and foremost, the location of the building is absolutely perfect. It is convenient and provides easy access to all the amenities and attractions I need. The neighborhood is peaceful, and I feel safe and secure in my surroundings.I must commend Jessica, the manager, for her outstanding dedication and willingness to go above and beyond. She has been incredibly helpful on numerous occasions, always extending herself to ensure that my needs are met. Recently, I had a few packages that were misdelivered, and Jessica took the time to personally speak with each carrier, tracking down my packages and resolving the issue promptly. Her commitment to exceptional customer service is truly remarkable.I would also like to express my appreciation for the maintenance team. They consistently fulfill my maintenance requests in a timely manner, always with a friendly smile. Their efficiency and professionalism are commendable, and I am grateful for their hard work.Overall, I cannot thank this team enough for providing such an exceptional living experience. This place has a very low security system along with poor management. I have grown mold in my entire apartment , windows are leaking every time its raining. Min 2 apartments have been robbed during my living here, bikes can stolen, items by the storage can been stolen, elevator is not working and since new manager came in it got even worse.

1900 Yorktown is a wonderful place to call home! The property, staff and residents all make living here so safe, effortless and comfortable. The property is very well maintained and maintenance issues are addressed quickly by professional, skilled, friendly staff. The office management is highly professional, knowledgeable, efficient, and helpful, while at the same time so welcoming. I made 1900 Yorktown my home for almost 4 years. I loved the apartment amenities and the staff always went out of their way to make sure that it was a great place to live. The building is clean and well kept. It is in a great location. I loved living so close to all of the restaurants and shops in the galleria.

The staff are absolutely amazing, they were so quick with everything that needed to be done in setting up the lease and answered any questions I had. Since then they have been so helpful and are always very pleasant to be around as are my neighbors. The apartment itself is incredible, and the facilities are well-maintained. Could not recommend it more!

I’ve been a resident at 1900 Yorktown since May 2023 and it’s been a wonderful living experience thus far. My leasing consultant was Jackie and she went above and beyond to make sure I had all the information I needed before signing a lease (thanks Jackie!!) Shoutout to Jessica and Jessica - the dynamic duo mgmt. team who gave me great, unbiased advice on how to navigate an unpleasant experience had at another property I was considering.1900 Yorktown is a lovely building with several wonderful amenities for its residents. My personal favorite is my view of the pool and all of the natural sunlight that fills my unit.Building mgmt. is top-notch - they are super responsive, accommodating and attentive to the needs of residents (thank you again Jessica & Jessica!).The front desk staff is superb, very personable and the team does a great job of communicating with residents and ensuring packages are received. Building maintenance and security are wonderful as well, helping to keep the building, clean, operational, and secure. I’m thrilled that I do not have security concerns living here, which was a recurring theme when I was searching for a place to live and read reviews of other properties.I’m super pleased to have found such an awesome living space at a reasonable price point in the Galleria!

Would not recommend to consider this place for living. I have lived there for 3 years and with new management came in everything got even worse. Elevator is not working, a lot of issues on the property, manager is not doing anything expect sending emails and notifications.

1900 Yorktown has been a wonderful experience over the last year. For starters, the Managment team and leasing staff are polite and professional while maintaining consistency. They work diligently to ensure the tenets ultimate satisfaction as it pertains to their living and moving arrangements.The location is quite unique when compared to other communities which contributes to its appeal. Walking around St James street equates to half a mile. Perfect for walking the dogs and the road experiences minimal traffic with the exception of peak traffic hours which is expected.Parking spots are assigned which helps mitigate guest traffic. That said, visitor parking is minimal on the first floor but plentiful on the top floor. Most apartment garages are challenging to navigate and 1900 is no exception. Unfortunately, there are also leaks that occur. Some levels are more prone to this issue than others so keep that in mind.1900 includes a fair sized gym which includes most of the essential equipment required for a full workout. The pool is also heated year round and the fire pit provides a nice ambiance during the winter months.Overall, Yorktown luxury apartments provides a full experience with the exception of a game room. I think most potential tenants will feel right at home at 1900 Yorktown. Just note this is not a high energy, party atmosphere. Expect a tight niche community that puts safety above all else.

Jessica is best leasing staff I have ever met. She’s nice, professional and always gives prompt responses. The approval process is also super fast. Although we finally did not proceed with the lease due to personal reason, I highly recommend this apartment community and appreciate Jessica’s help along the way.

Thank you to both Jessica Gonzalez and Jessica Sanfiel, as well as Damian for making me feel like a VIP guest at their property. I just moved in this past weekend. Everyone on site has gone above and beyond to create an experience well beyond my expectations. The management team is amazing, it’s rare these days to find people who care so much, especially at an apartment property. From the time I started looking at apartments in the area, this property really stood out because I felt like they valued me as a person rather than just a name on a lease agreement. I ultimately chose 1900 Yorktown because of the management team, the warm welcome, the extra lengths that they went to show they cared, and the cleanliness of the property. This is a well-designed and well-constructed building with friendly neighbors. The management company really does value the residents here and strives to create a community feel. Great place to live, great location, and great people. Looking forward to my time here!
