“I wish I could say that I have been shopping at this HEB forever. Nope.
However, I have been shopping at HEB since the first store was on the southwest (where the gas station is) side of the property.
The Kingsland HEB still has a couple of original employees.
Living where we live, we are limited by where we can shop for groceries. There are other places to shop, but I prefer the Kingsland HEB. The only issue I have with the store is finding a handicapped parking space. It's not just at this store it's all over. No one monitors the spaces.

Back to the store. Shop there. Gas up first so the Blue Bell won't melt. Do as I do and talk to neighbors and friends. My trips, even for one item, take over well over an hour.”

“Love-Love HEB. But they could have more registers open especially during The Holidays. People don't want to wait in line. Our time is money. Again I stand in line while employees stand around. OPEN MOR E REGISTERS!!! treat us like you want us to come back. Prices are still too high. Can't blame supply chain any more.”

“It's a place you go to that's a self-service gas station. You gas purchase gasoline, diesel, and gas containers. Plastic gas containers, not an old codger. You can also purchase sodas, lubricants and additives.”

“It is a store to get small things that you might need without going to a large grocery store. You can be in and out quickly. We also come here to get craft supplies. You don't have to park s mile from the entrance and walk to the back of a large store to find what you need. Quick in and out is what makes this store a good stop. I have noticed it is a bit more expensive than our local grocery store, so you can look at it like you are paying for convenience.”

“Always tons of options for general merchandise but there's usually not enough staff working to be able to stock the shelves and clear the floor of totes packed on wheeled carts. Prices are higher than Walmart of course but you pay for the convenience I guess.”

“The counter sales are very seldom friendly but boy do they have great breakfast tacos. The lady that makes them is very friendly and knows what I want if they are out of my favorite.”

“This is a very nice Dollar store since it's been recently remodeled. The young man who works behind the counter is very friendly and personable. Especially compared to the lady who waited on me yesterday.”

“The store and parking lot were both clean. There were very few people shopping. So shopping was done quickly. But just as the shoppers were very few. So where the employees. They normally have at least one cashier. Today I didn't see any. Everyone was forced to go through the self checkout. There were two employees working the self checkouts. They were in a private conversation and didn't even notice the older lady. She was having difficulty scanning and bagging her items. I thought they would come to assist her but never did. So I asked if I could help her. She was happy to let me take over the job. I asked if I could help her outside. But no, she said I had helped enough. Then I went to checking myself out. I was very disappointed in Walmart's customer service, or lack of. If a store like Walmart is not busy in a town with little other choices. It's not usually hard to see why. It was clear to me that it's possible they are to worried about the bottom line that they have forgotten what actually grows a business. Customer service! They may think no one can replace Walmart. But there is always someone looking to take your place. I don't know who that might be. But you can guarantee they are in the shadows. Walmart seriously needs to step it up or step aside. Just my opinion.

“It is great that we have a gas station here in Cottonwood Shores at Dutch Leming Dr and FM 2147. You can fill up your lawn mower, vehicle, skid steer or other heavy equipment without leaving Cottonwood Shores.”
