The one at East Lake is awesome. The manager there sometimes he'll give you a sample of what thy have For example, Tamales and you'll end up buying a bunch Anyway.the meat without question. And when he says he guarantees it. He guarantees it. I recommend it to anyone.

Well, the place used to be good. Now that there are more options, you'd think they would focus on more customer service, but not. The kids they're hiring are not customer focused.

Today we went shopping to cook out and we got an ugly surprise, first the potatoes were all rotten and then the corn with worms, if that's how they are with vegetables, how will the rest be, I won't go to this place again🤮

Been here a few times and always thought it was worth it till today. Paid $80+ for a few steaks, two salads, and 3 avocados. The meat was slimey and had a bad taste. We cooked it all and it all went in the trash. It's been a few hours and we're all feeling sick. It's a disgrace, that even at over $12 a pound, we can't even expect to get good, fresh meat. Wanted to treat the family to some good steaks and ended up all sick. Never again.

I bought 3 ribeye steaks to grill on Father’s Day. They were kind of expensive but worth it. I marinated them with a little salt, pepper and Worcestershire sauce for 4 hours, then grilled them until medium-rare. They were delicious!

La Estrella is our go-to for any cookout essentials. Their arrachera is marinated well (we prefer the Texas marinade over the cali one). We have also ordered the chicken breast and taco meats & I can’t say we have ever been disappointed. I have also experienced great customer service with every visit. All in all, a solid local business that we will continue to support for years on end.

0 stars for this place. My husband and I bought some meat yesterday to celebrate my father in law’s birthday. Well we all ended up getting sick from the meat! I will never ever buy meat from there again. By the looks of it, they sell rotten meat and disguise it with the marinade.
I saw another comment mentioning the same thing. DO NOT BUY HERE. YOU WILL GET SICK!!!!!🤢

Bad experience with employees. Always in a bad mood and it seems like they do favors regardless of their high prices. Pity for the owners. They offer good quality and the worst service in Horizon. Sad.

Such an awesome little shop. The tamales are amazing and the selections do tortillas are the best in Horizon. The service is always really good and the ingredients sold are the most fresh this way. I'm so happy to be able to frequent this place. Give their green and red tamales a try, you won't regret it.
