I am a ASE certified technician, have been in business for 30yrs. I sent in a ECM from a infinity I30 with an Idle problem, when I received the computer back I installed and started the car still had an idle problem and the car would not accelerate it felt like there was no fuel pressure. install new fuel pump no change, monitored with scanner and saw the mass sensor had no change on acceleration, checked electrical connection and wiring to The ECM. no problem found. called foreign Auto Computer and discussed the problem and they said to send back, so I did. I then get an Email saying that somebody cut the seal on the back and it voided warranty. I E mailed them back and told them I did not go into the computer and that I inspected the seal on the back and that it wasn't cut when I sent it back. they never tried to contact me any more , they simply extracted the components they installed and sent it back. when I called them she would not let me talk to him about the repair, she was rude and said he wont work on it.I will not do any business with them nor will I refer any more Business to them > Thanks, Steve's Maintenance and repair.

I can't say enough good about these guys, they do seem like an expert for the ECUs that tend to go bad on the market today! I have a '92 Mazda B2600 and the ECU on this is known to go bad. So i got one from O'Reilly's Auto, and it was, for lack of a better term, shite. So I reached out to these guys explaining the issue and my situation and they said, send out the old one, return the new PoS, and we'll get back to you. So shipped and back to me in under a week. They were very informative with the entire process and SO easy to work with. Go to them if you have ECU problems, esp if it's common. Thank you guys!

Amateur place. No business ethics, no professional conduct. Inevitably there are cases when a customer cannot be helped. In such a case it is considered the learning curve for technician. Customer should not be charged if nothing is done for her/him, this is good business practice.. Foreign Auto Computer Repair could not repair my Mitsubishi ECM, they even couldn't tell if it is defective or not. Yet, they charged me for ... I don't know what for, but I had to pay to get my ECM back. They alleged looking at it for several hours - that's what they did - deserves getting paid. When I emailed them and expressed my surprise I received in response an angry phone call , scolding me how dare I to expect to get something for my money. Well, I paid up and got my unit back. I'm not young, never in my life have I paid any business for nothing, it never occurred me some business would even do this. Therefore, in my eyes Foreign Auto Computer Repair is not a real business. It is just a guy with soldering iron and perhaps JTAG tool who has no clue how to run a real business.

Hey, I had to give a shout out to Foreign Auto Computer after what they just did for me. I have an '09 Titan and got stranded at my house 'cuz it wouldn't turn over. I thought it was the starter but my buddy who's a self taught mechanic said it was my ECU. I called the dealer down the street and they said they would tow it to their place and fix it for a quote of more then a grand. I was thinking $200 max for a starter and now they we're sayin' over a grand 'cuz my security **** needed to be transferred. I checked around online and came across these guys at Foreign Auto Computer. They said they could transfer the security stuff with no problems and ship me the part direct and I could probably install it myself. No tow charge to the dealer and no labor. My buddy threw it in for free for me and I saved the grand and am headed to the beach to celebrate. I'm feelin' bad a.. Thanks guys for helping a stranded motorist out. ****

Excellent business form the techs to billing. VERY HONEST, and very good at what they do. 1991 Dodge Stealth DOHC...computers were junk from the factory. Had ours sent out twice with no luck and $200 in charges. Wished I found these guys sooner. Cheers!

Sent out couple computers and Modules to these Guys. Very friendly on the phone. If there's an issue they'll call you back. Nobody offers warranty like they do on repairs because obviously they know exactly what they do. Will keep doing Buisness with them and the prices are more then reasonable. Customers are Happy so am I.
